　In April, what awaited me at the prefectural high school where I was assigned was a teaching experience that was hell beyond imagination.

　When I opened the attendance book, the characters of the names scurried away like caterpillars, and the blackboard would retreat three meters the moment I pointed a piece of chalk at it. The chalk I finally managed to catch would strike my forehead, and as for the eraser, it wouldn't budge an inch, like a giant boulder with roots deep in the ground.

"I just can't teach like this anymore!"
　To my tearful plea in the staff room, the white-haired veteran teacher sipped his bitter tea and said, unfazed.
"The attendance book is absent-minded, the blackboard is extremely shy, and the chalk is going through a rebellious phase. And the eraser... well, it's severely nocturnal."

　A month later, I had gotten used to the school. The attendance book's focus had improved, and the blackboard had gotten used to me and stopped running away. The chalk, having finished its rebellious phase, became obedient and clung to my hand, writing smooth characters.

　However, the eraser just didn't seem to have a constitution that allowed it to wake up during the day, so it had no choice but to transfer. It seems it is now working lively at a night school.
