[Android Support] Installation Guide for note Mute & Like Count Hiding Tool
Hello, this is Hiyori.
I've received requests to use the "Odayaka note set" (mute & like count hiding tool) that I released previously on Android, so I've added support for it! 🎉
👇 Please check this article for an introduction to the tool and the reasons why I created it.
In this article, I will focus on explaining the installation steps for Android.
What you need
On Android, you will use the Firefox browser and an add-on (extension) called Tampermonkey.
Both are free.
Firefox: A browser that can be installed for free from Google Play
Tampermonkey: An add-on that can be added to Firefox. It is used to run user scripts.
⚠️ Since Chrome on Android does not support extensions, Firefox is required. Even if you usually use Chrome, it is fine to use Firefox just when viewing note.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Install Firefox
Search for "Firefox" in the Google Play Store and install it.
Step 2: Add Tampermonkey
Open Firefox and tap ⋮ (menu)
Extensions → Find add-ons tap
Search for "Tampermonkey" and tap Add to Firefox
When asked "Add?", tap Add
💡 If you cannot find it, try checking "Desktop site" in the menu and then opening the Tampermonkey page.
Step 3: Install the script
This is the easiest part! Just open the following link in Firefox and the installation screen will appear automatically.

👉 Install Like Count Hiding Tool
When you open the link, the Tampermonkey confirmation screen asking "Do you want to install this script?" will appear. Simply tap "Install" to complete.
If you want to use both, please install them one by one in order.
Using just one is also fine.
Step 4: Open note and check
Open note.com in Firefox and try refreshing the page.
Mute Tool:A 🔇 button will appear at the bottom right of the screen. You can tap it to register creator IDs.
Like Count Hiding Tool:The like count will disappear, leaving only the ♡ icon. You can toggle the display on/off using the button at the bottom left of the screen.
FAQ
Q. I usually use Chrome, do I have to install Firefox too?
A. Yes, since Chrome on Android does not support extensions, Firefox is required. It is fine to use Firefox only when viewing note.
Q. Can I use it in the note app?
A. It does not work within the official note app. Please use the Firefox browser to open note.com.
Q. Are settings shared with the PC or iOS versions?
A. Settings are independent for each device. You need to register your mute list on each one.
Q. How do I update the tools?
A. Tampermonkey checks for updates automatically, so you don't need to do anything special.
If it doesn't work properly
Check if Tampermonkey is enabled in Firefox Menu → Extensions → Tampermonkey
Check if the script is ON in the Tampermonkey dashboard (Menu → Extensions → Tampermonkey)
Try reloading the page
If it still doesn't work, please feel free to contact me via comments or Marshmallow💌
Conclusion
Thank you to everyone who requested Android support.
I don't think I would have implemented it without your requests, so I was happy to hear your feedback.
It is now available on major platforms: PC (Chrome), iOS (Safari), and Android (Firefox).
I hope this makes the note experience a little more peaceful for those who need it.
