Summer at the beach waits for no one: Waves, wind, and iced coffee at Namiki Cafe in Yasuura, Kure ☕️🧊

Between weekdays and weekends, I'm always overwhelmed with things I want to do,
and I feel like I'm constantly being chased by the hands of the clock,
but for these few hours, I felt like I was the one turning the clock's hands myself ⏳

Driving through the seaside town,
stopping by a cozy little general store,

and after climbing up the mountain road and coming out the other side, there it was,
a cafe that suddenly appeared 🏠

Namiki Cafe in Yasuura, Kure.
Just as the name suggests, it was a place where the waves sparkle 🏠

Inside the cafe, the windows were wide open. The air conditioning was set low,
so the sound of the waves and the sea breeze came in directly,
making even the slight heat feel like a part of nature.

The iced coffee I drank in that space was simply irresistible.
They apparently use groundwater,
giving it a mellow flavor that is cold but doesn't give you brain freeze.
The way it slowly soaks into your body is just right for summer.

Time spent just staring blankly at the sea.
I didn't even feel like looking at my phone; I just watched the waves.
It was a place where I could truly think, 'Ah, summer is wonderful' 🌊
