The two-headed giant monster Hansharon is the incarnation of the Nakaminato Reverberatory Furnace built by the 9th Mito feudal lord, Tokugawa Nariaki. Lord Nariaki, known as one of the most radical among the successive Mito feudal lords, had the Nakaminato Reverberatory Furnace built in order to manufacture cannons to counter foreign ships.
After that, toward the end of the Edo period, the Mito domain had to shed much blood in events such as the Sakuradamon Incident and the Sakashitamon Incident. Eventually, an internal conflict known as the "Tengu Party Rebellion" broke out within the domain, and the Nakaminato Reverberatory Furnace was destroyed and burned during that battle.
However, Hansharon thought this was for the best. In truth, he was tired of continuing to create tools of war.
Time passed, and in 1937 (Showa 12), the Nakaminato Reverberatory Furnace was rebuilt in the same form as it was at that time. The reborn Hansharon now conveys that history to the present day as a living witness to the era.

After that, toward the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, the Mito clan had to shed a lot of blood, such as the strangeness outside Sakuradamon and the strangeness outside Sakashitamon. Eventually, an internal conflict called the "Tengu Party Rebellion" occurred within the domain, and the Nakaminato Reverberatory Furnace was destroyed and burned during the battle.
But Hansharon thought this was fine. He was really tired of making fighting tools.
