[Anger] Anger is softened by reducing the degree of attachment and by relinquishing the demands and expectations of the ego.
"Truth and Subjectivity" by David R. Hawkins, pp. 259-261
Anger begins in childhood and stems from a narcissistic sense of lack. Its origins can be seen in the animal world, where there is innate competition for food, territory, and mates. In more sophisticated adulthood, anger becomes more elaborate and is adapted to positions and social issues, such as "good" versus "evil," "guilt" versus "innocence," or expectations that create frustration.
Anger arises when perception sends a signal of threat to the ego, causing the ego to regress to its original animalistic response. In childhood, anger is directed at the symbol of adults who appear to stand in the way of what one wants. Even if the source of anger is internal to the mind, it is usually projected outward and used to threaten or control others.
When the focus shifts from the person experiencing the anger to the perspective of an observer, it becomes clear that the ego's narcissistic, excessive expectations are what make the person prone to anger. Angry people secretly believe they are entitled to their desires and wishes, and they hold unrealistic expectations of life. Furthermore, anger manifests as an attitude and a position of a fragile ego. It leads to aggression rather than healthy self-assertion.
The basic antidote to this kind of anger is humility. Humility offsets the self-centeredness that nourishes anger. The childishness of an angry person rails against the unfairness of life, but it actually stems from childish tantrums and self-indulgence.Narcissism creates the belief that one deserves to get what one wants, because at the narcissistic core of the ego, only the self is considered overly important. When one begins to realize that the universe is indifferent to the ego's demands, the childishness becomes intensely angry and falls into a pattern of interpersonal conflict. Then, anger begins as a futile attempt to control a third party to be used as an object of manipulation or a target for frustration.
The most effective way to prevent the development of anger is to see others as equal to oneself, to stop having excessive expectations, and through humility, to surrender the fulfillment of one's desires to God. By reducing the degree of attachment and relinquishing the demands and expectations of the ego, anger is softened.
So-called righteous indignation is an inflated moral view of positions and expectations of others.
Gi-fun (Righteous Indignation)
[Noun] Resentment against something that is immoral or unjust.
Accompanied by hatred, anger is directed at an external enemy, but this is merely projecting the tendency for hatred within oneself onto a symbolic entity."Hating sin" is also a form of hatred, so one cannot gain moral superiority through that hatred. "Hating sin" creates the contradiction of error condemning error. Swinging the fist of righteous indignation at a sinner brings no more benefit than self-righteous demagoguery.
The greatest cause of spiritual error is the confusion of different realms as if they were on the same playing field and level of reality.
Go-byu (Error/Fallacy)
[Noun] To make a mistake. Also, a mistake or error.
Whales do not fight tigers because they live in different worlds. The concept that God fights against forces of evil is a fantasy created by fear dominated by guilt, and in reality, such a thing is impossible. In "Truth," nothing can exist that threatens the purity of Heaven, God, or "Ultimate Truth.""Truth" exists, but fictional things do not."Truth" cannot be threatened by fictional things.
Forces of good and evil can only confront and fight each other in lower spiritual dimensions or in human imagination.Human imagination makes the impossible real, like a movie, and depicts graphic interactions like in the movie "War of the Worlds."
It is good to remember that the mind is not always able to distinguish truth from falsehood, especially the primitive mind.Myths, fables, and epics satisfy the human need to hold fear and hope regarding destiny. While they are poetically beautiful, they are not facts, nor do they reflect spiritual truth or represent absolute reality. Can one condemn that which is not true?Only that which exists can be blamed. That which is not true has no civil rights in "Truth."
The "Book of Revelation" (measured at 70) has been used by religious demagogues for centuries. Its author, John, is measured at 70. Gullible and naive people are easy prey for manipulation and intimidation. For centuries, countless mediums and prophets have been buried in the dramas of lower spiritual dimensions. And time and again, the blindly faithful have prepared for the "end times." Countless cults and sects have been obsessed with recurring end-of-the-century legends, driving and captivating the imaginations of impressionable people. All legends are born from human collective guilt, fear, and spiritual ignorance, in addition to the hopeful pride of being the "chosen people" and the idea that one is a member of a minority deserving of special treatment.
Falsehood is based on force (negative) and fear. Truth is based on power (positive).Because falsehood is based on illusion, it feels frightening.Truth transcends fear and aggression.Falsehood has no innate power, so it can only have influence through people's loyalty. The terrifying "end times" correspond to lower spiritual dimensions, where the illusions of falsehood are treated as if they were real.
What did you think about [Anger]?
I, Hishar, the director of the Animal Brain Research Institute, have come to understand through my own experience that my own inflated animal brain (instinct), which is the ego, was structured in this way. I believe my role is to see if I can humbly convey that experience and the contents of the book 'I: Reality and Subjectivity' to each individual with a true heart and unconditional love—can I do it, or can't I? The answer is, 'I can!'
Postscript: On March 22, 2022, I experienced perhaps the greatest anger I have ever felt. I am recording this for the sake of reflection. It took me a full day to return to my original stance. I experienced once again that transcending the ego is extremely difficult. In 'Truth,' there can be nothing that threatens the purity of Heaven, God, or the 'Ultimate Truth.'
The characteristic of the animal brain (instinct), or ego, is attachment. The more you cling to the expectations you have envisioned, the more you will be swayed by events when they do not turn out that way. At this very moment, the future has not yet manifested, so it is important to be able to hold a neutral consciousness that says it would be nice if it happened, but it is fine if it does not. If you are identified with your animal brain (instinct), or ego, you can never hold a neutral consciousness. A neutral consciousness is a stance of an aware heart based on love, and it is based on a state of knowing rather than thinking or analyzing. It is spontaneous, not calculated.
Since the source of happiness and joy is inherent within, if you stop identifying with your animal brain (instinct), or ego, your experiences of happiness and joy will surely increase.
Do you know how much of a positive influence it has on the liberation of this Earth when you emit particles of happiness and joy power (positive) from the universe that is you?
By all means, let us together engage in spiritual exploration, spreading particles of happiness and joy power (positive) across the Earth so that everyone can be happy and joyful together.
Eleven years after the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake, March 11, 2022, KIN 192. Let us use the power of each individual's consciousness to shift the collective consciousness of humanity toward the power of happiness and joy (positive) so that unfortunate events do not manifest.
If I dare to use the word 'enemy,' the enemy of humanity is the sweet nectar of the animal brain (instinct), or ego. Since everyone possesses it equally, let us see through its true nature.
