It is good to remember at all times that the ego/mind is not experiencing the world, but is experiencing its own perception of it.
"I: Reality and Subjectivity" by David R. Hawkins, pp. 235-237
Dandelion seeds drift in the air, and their destination is determined by the interaction between the shape of the seed and the blowing wind. Like these dandelion seeds, humans have been given a physical body, but the difference is that humans have a rudder called the mind and spirit, which allows them to decide their own destination and take responsibility. However, until very recently, although people had a rudder, they did not have a compass, and because of their ignorance, they could not take responsibility. Even though humans have been taught since ancient times to be obedient to God, they did not know what kind of being God was or what God was like. And for centuries, spiritual truth has been completely distorted, and even those most devoted to God have been misled by false beliefs, taking extreme actions such as sacrificing innocent children and people to honor and please God.
We do not need to use the word "evil." It is a word that stimulates emotions.Instead, it is more appropriate to describe it as narcissistic selfishness, inflation of the ego, ignorance, mass hysteria, or psychopathic/criminal acting out due to animalistic impulses. These acts are characterized by the absence of love.
[Q: How can we distance ourselves from such human tragedies?]
A: By having a broader context, one can have a more impartial perspective. Human consciousness grows from animals, from infants to curious youths, and then to mature adults. However, it is very rare for one to grow into the new human, "Homo Spiritus."Even though there have been talented individuals and groups with spiritual inspiration for thousands of years, their numbers have not increased, and their obvious influence has been limited and undermined by opposing forces and distortion. We can view the ups and downs of life as fluctuations, and there is no need to label them with contempt. Life is the best school.
Explanation of distortion [noun] (suru verb)
1. To twist or bend something. Also, to become distorted or bent. "A distorted railroad track"
2. To intentionally distort and convey facts. "This report distorts the facts"
Explanation of contempt [noun]
1. (suru verb) To despise and look down on someone. "I cannot endure the contempt"
By detaching from a position (especially a position arising from labeling), we can gain peace, freedom, and security.Greater peace is brought about by looking at the context of life, not the content. This is because content is merely a game board where egos clash with one another.By approaching life more broadly in this way, further compassion is born, and one will no longer be swayed by the world.
In a normal state of consciousness, the "I" of the ego/self is the content, and consciousness/awareness/God/the "Self" is the context.
It is good to remember at all times that the ego/mind is not experiencing the world, but is experiencing its own perception of it.The media skillfully manipulates emotions and senses, using images and words to induce sentimentality or resentment, or to satisfy obscene curiosity. However, by looking directly at things as they are, you can reject the invitation to react. Every life has its ups and downs. Everyone is born, suffers, and dies. There is happiness and sadness, disaster and success, and descent is equal to ascent. The stock market also goes up and down. Illness and accidents come and go. The dance of life's karma [=unconscious] appears in the theater of cosmic karma [=unconscious].
All reactions to life are subjective.Even experiences that seem unbearable, or things that are fun, sad, good, or bad, in reality, nothing has actually happened. Therefore, it is meaningless to view things by asking why calamities or disasters "happen," saying "how could an innocent person suffer like that," "how terrible," or "it must be someone's fault."By having a larger perspective, we are no longer disturbed by the content or context of life. To do this, we must let go of value judgments, expectations, and "sensitivity."
The potential of things can be modified by changing the conditions (environment).By influencing the balance of the phenomenon or the tendency of things, they can be changed in any way. For example, a wise witness who encountered a forest fire stated in a newspaper article, "The fire itself is neither good nor bad. It reflects the conditions of the region" (Paxon, 2002). What is "bad" for the residents may be "good" for the forest in the long run, as it is healthy and natural.
In "Truth," there are no events. There is no beginning and no end.The background is always quiet and still, and is not disturbed by the movie. The oneness of life is perceived by the human eye as diversity. It is the "radiance of the Self" that makes the events of the world look real. In the movie itself, there is no reality as perceived in essence. The sense of reality is actually entirely within subjective consciousness.Even if there were an independent, objective reality, it is human internal subjectivity that perceives it.
That is all for this time.
Here, I would like to review the parts I put in bold once again.
And for centuries, spiritual truth has been completely distorted, and even those most devoted to God have been misled by false beliefs, taking extreme actions such as sacrificing innocent children and people to honor and please God.
We do not need to use the word "evil." It is a word that stimulates emotions.
These acts are characterized by the absence of love.
Even though there have been talented individuals and groups with spiritual inspiration for thousands of years, their numbers have not increased, and their obvious influence has been limited and undermined by opposing forces and distortion.
Greater peace is brought about by looking at the context of life, rather than its content.
By approaching life more broadly in this way, greater compassion is born, and you will no longer be swayed by the world.
It is good to remember that the ego/mind is not experiencing the world, but rather experiencing its own perception of it.
All reactions to life are subjective.
Therefore, it is meaningless to view things by asking why calamities or disasters 'happen,' or by saying things like 'how could an innocent person suffer like that,' 'how terrible,' or 'it must be someone's fault.'
The potential of things can be modified by changing the conditions (environment).
In 'Truth,' there are no events. There is no beginning and no end.
The oneness of life is perceived by the human eye as diversity.
The sense of reality actually exists entirely within subjective consciousness.
What is perception?
What is perception: Feeling the surface texture, hardness, and temperature of things. Distinguishing shapes, colors, and movements. Tasting food. Hearing sounds. We perceive (become aware of) physical and chemical information from the environment, which consists of various elements, as sensations. The functional divisions of the nervous system corresponding to the senses generally called the five senses—skin sensation, vision, hearing, smell, and taste—have been elucidated anatomically and physiologically. Physical and chemical stimuli input into peripheral sensory receptors pass through sensory relay nuclei and reach the primary sensory cortex of the cerebrum (visual cortex, somatosensory cortex, auditory cortex, olfactory cortex, and gustatory cortex). From the primary sensory cortex onward, sensory information is sequentially integrated (cross-modal integration) and converted into higher-order information. These are involved in conceptual information processing such as space and language that does not rely on specific sensory information, the encoding of emotional and memory information, and the formation of decision-making and behavioral output based on those results.
It is good to remember that the ego/mind is not experiencing the world, but rather experiencing its own perception of it.
This means that if you try to know your own perception, you will come to understand your current way of being.
How are you perceiving this and that? (Feeling the surface texture, hardness, and temperature of things. Distinguishing shapes, colors, and movements. Tasting food. Hearing sounds. We perceive (become aware of) physical and chemical information from the environment, which consists of various elements, as sensations.)
When identified with the animal brain (instinct) = ego, we perceive negatively, and from the standpoint of a mind aware and grounded in love, we perceive positively. However, if you do not realize that your standpoint changes unconsciously, you will be swayed by external events and emotions. Furthermore, the media skillfully works on emotions and senses, using images and words to induce sentimentality and resentment, or to satisfy obscene curiosity.
Explanation of 'waisetsu' (obscene) [Noun/Adjectival Verb]
1. Indecent. Disgusting. Also, the state of being so. 'Obscene talk,' 'obscene article.'
2. In law, unnecessarily stimulating a person's sexual desire, harming normal modesty, and being contrary to sound sexual moral concepts. 'Public obscenity,' 'obscene material.'
Since humans have an animal brain (instinct) = ego, I think it is about whether, while understanding the true nature that obscene curiosity exists to a greater or lesser extent, you can perceive that perception from the standpoint of a mind aware and grounded in pure love.
I think it is very important to have a standpoint that sees through the true nature of the 'innate truth.'
How can one become purely transparent? 500 is love, 540 is joy, 600 is peace, and 700-1000 is pure will.
To that end, if I were to put one method into words, it would be:Know, accept, forgive, enjoy, and rejoice in your own perceptions.
It comes down to whether your perception is based on love. Even if it is not, do you have the awareness to accept it, forgive it, and strive to make it a perception based on love?
If your perception is always one of peace, joy, and love, then no matter what happens in the outside world, you will be in a state of having no worries.
I believe that enlightenment is the state where all negative perceptions disappear.
However, because the animal brain (instinct) = ego = thinking mind has such stubborn attachments, ruffians may appear, but being able to enjoy that stubbornness with humor is very important. The animal brain (instinct) = ego = thinking mind is not the true self.
As they say, Rome was not built in a day; even if you know the 'innate truth,' it requires repetition upon repetition to truly internalize it.
Right here and now, while perceiving the miracle of being kept alive and new realizations with joy, let us move forward together toward the liberation of the Earth through love.
