Laar Spätburgunder BF Trocken 2022

These are my impressions of a Spätburgunder from Baden, Germany 🇩🇪.

The color is a medium ruby.
The aroma is medium, with notes of raspberry, cranberry, blueberry, vanilla, clove, and developing characteristics.
On the palate, it is dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, and medium body; the flavors are intense with a moderately long finish.
It is a very good quality wine that is ready to drink now, but has potential for further aging.

I enjoyed it at a sushi restaurant served in a white wine glass.
The firm acidity and raspberry aroma pair well with medium-fatty tuna! As it ages and the acidity rounds out, it would likely pair well with fatty tuna as well.
