Hello, Yankee.

I have been timid at home since I was little.

I am shy and act like a goody-two-shoes when I am out.

I always want to live peacefully.

I try my best to speak to my husband and children kindly and amusingly.

However, sometimes the Yankee inside me pops out.

Last night, I must have been sleeping in a weird position sandwiched between my children, and I woke up with a stiff neck.

My neck hurts...
My head hurts too...

The pain peaked in the evening.

While I was preparing dinner,
my naked husband and twin boys
"Mom! The bath isn't ready! Come on!"
they complained to me.

A little while ago, the twin boys had high fevers from the flu.
I was nursing them in the bedroom on the second floor.

The twin girls came to the bedroom and

brought me a drink in a cup.

When I drank it, it tasted incredibly strange...

"I mixed milk, barley tea, and Calpis together 💖"

I had a bad feeling, so I went down to the first floor.

The twin girls and my eldest daughter had made a drink by mixing milk, barley tea, and Calpis (concentrate) all together and had spilled it all over the living room.

...Huh? Where is my husband?

"Dad has been in the bath for a long time and hasn't come out."

I could hear my husband humming in the bath.

The twin girls and the eldest daughter all burst into laughter!!

I tend to act like a delinquent quite easily when it comes to the microwave.

When it goes 'ding!' and I end up grabbing a super hot plate,

I yell, "It's hot, you jerk! Come on!!"

and pick a fight with the microwave.

I have lived a life far removed from being a delinquent.
