A day when I felt once again that I need time to rest
My eldest daughter, who does not attend school, muttered, "I wish I had some friends..."
I was very surprised, but after taking a deep breath, I think I was able to ask, "Would you mind telling me more about that?" as if it were nothing.
○ A child who, like my eldest daughter, does not go to school
○ A girl around the same age
○ Wants to play together from the morning
○ Wants her mom to be there with her
She shared these wishes with me.
I was happy that my eldest daughter felt like she wanted a little more stimulation than her current life.
Even if she ends up thinking, "I guess it was impossible after all..." that's okay!!
Because the feeling of wanting to take a step forward is real✨
This is a story from a little while ago, but after giving birth to twins, I fell into a severe depression.
Everything in this world became scary, my mind and body broke down, and no matter what I did, tears would overflow.
I genuinely wished to "disappear."
Looking back now, I still think, is this what a living hell is like?
I was hospitalized and spent my time looking at the sky from my bed.
I rested, and rested, and rested.
Then, I started wanting to listen to the radio, I began to be able to taste my food...
It took a long time, but I recovered little by little.
I came to find the sky, the stars, and nature more beautiful than before, and I came to cherish my family.
Laughing became fun again.
My eldest daughter also needed to rest.
I also remembered that when I was depressed and crying every day, my eldest daughter would gently stroke my head and say,
"Mom, it's okay to cry."
My eldest daughter might still need to rest for a while longer.
But I believe that resting is not a waste of time.
I want to keep expressing my gratitude to the family and friends who supported me during the time I was resting😊
