To the Things That Change—10 Quiet Gazes of Farewell #3 | Seemingly Unchanging...
Hello.
Welcome to the world of "clu" 🌠
Welcome to the world of "clu"tch 🌃
Last time, I wrote on the theme of "like the hands of a clock that no one is watching."
This time, I will write about the small changes hidden in everyday life, with the theme of "things that seemed unchanging, but were changing little by little."
Episode 3 | Things that seemed unchanging, but were changing little by little

Hello, everyone (^_-)-☆
This is the third episode of the essay series.
This time, it's a story that somehow tugs at the heart just a little bit 🙂↕️
The usual coffee shop in front of the station ☕️
The aroma of warm coffee ☕︎ and the kind smile of the owner were part of my daily life.
But one day, I suddenly noticed.

The lightbulb on the shop's sign was out, and it was quieter than usual.
"Huh? Is it closed today?"
I thought that, but something was bothering me.
When I think about it carefully, there might have been small "omens" from a few days ago.
The aroma of the coffee ☕︎ had become a little weaker, or the flowers by the window were looking a little less vibrant.

It was as if a small sense of unease was definitely there...
But I was pretending not to notice.
"It must just be a coincidence," or "I'll just stop by next time."
That's how I convinced myself in a way that was convenient for me.
The things we want to stay the same,
in truth, are changing little by little.
Because facing that directly is, in some way, lonely and scary.

Don't you have things like that around you, too?
(I have a few ^^)
For example, conversations with friends.
We used to laugh together over more trivial things,
but lately, we talk more about the weather and the news.
It's not that it's bad, but I feel like that relaxed, easygoing vibe we had back then is slowly fading away.
We change.
Our environment, our words, our expressions.
But when it comes to ourselves, it's hard to notice those changes.

However, in a fleeting moment,
"Oh, the me from a little while ago might not have thought this way."
There are moments like that.
That is surely proof that something has changed deep within your heart.
Changing is not a bad thing.
In fact, I think it's proof that you are truly living.
It is natural for your perspective to change as you gain experience.
But sometimes, I want to ask myself...

"Hey, how have you been lately?"
Like, are you doing okay? Or, are you pushing yourself too hard?
These are trivial things, not really worth telling anyone else.
But I want to make sure I listen to them myself.
I think having a dialogue with yourself is surprisingly important.

Do you have them too?
"Things that seemed unchanging, but had actually changed."
(Hmm, maybe I do... maybe I don't...
Which is it? 😄)
It might be your own perspective,
or perhaps the temperature of the coffee ☕︎ you drink every morning.
Or maybe the streets that looked so innocent in the past
now look just a little bit different in color.
I want to be the kind of person who can
properly notice those small differences.
The small changes hidden in everyday life °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
The voice of the heart that we tend to overlook 💜

By listening to them,
we might be able to know ourselves more deeply.
This time, it was an event that made me think about such things.
Thank you for always reading.
I hope I can bring a little bit of warm light into your daily life✨
Well then, I will see you in the next article🎶
