Since I encountered it this August,AONOit has lived in my heart ever since.
The moment I opened the page,

It was as if I had been put under a spell.
Those words were the beginning of the entire journey.

A small spark of courage: "I want to add a theme song"

AONO's story world is faint, bittersweet, and has the temperature of the air just before dawn.

It would be a waste to just read it! I couldn't help but want to transform that delicate atmosphere into grains of sound.

So, with a pounding heart, I commented on the article saying, "I want to make a theme song for this."

What came back was a warm "OK" that far exceeded my expectations.

"Wait, really!?" I said out loud without thinking (laughs).

In that moment, a dream-like project—a collaboration between a story and a song—quietly began to move.

I reread the synopsis many times, spun the core emotions of the story into lyrics, added a melody, and finally, the

theme song was complete!

When I released it on YouTube, the small lights of comments that flickered on the other side of the screen are something I still cannot forget.

I still remember them to this day.

"It grabbed my heart."
"I've encountered a wonderful song." ...

Each and every one of those words made me truly happy, and my heart was full.

September to October — The challenge of creating a music video.

A time to turn "maybe I can" into "I definitely can."

　Once I made the song, strangely enough, the desire to
"see the story in motion" began to swell up within me.

I didn't just want a video; I wanted to create an animated music video where the story felt like it was breathing!

But reality isn't that sweet. It was a start from setting up the environment.

Adjusting tools, searching for materials, test generation, re-outputting... It was just like a ritual where a witch carefully gathers her tools one by one before setting out on a journey.

It was a series of steady, painstaking tasks, but
the feeling of "I'm definitely going to make a wonderful music video!"
kept me moving forward.

Entering October, I finally proposed the music video project to AONO.
The image of the world, the expressions of the translucent witches,
the depiction of herbs swaying in the wind...

The moment the music video was finally finished,
the witch started walking deep within the screen!

Even with just the audio video, the story should have been conveyed well enough, but
the moment the illustrations were layered and the music started playing,
that mysterious sensation where the story suddenly became vivid and my understanding deepened.

Even though they were supposed to be still images,
they looked as if they were breathing.

I felt as if the witch's gaze
was looking back at me.
