The Most Emotional Backdrop in the Universe #WeeklyShortShortNote

This is a place far from Earth called the 'Cliff of Departure'.
A young man and woman are lamenting their parting.

'Do you really have to go?'

'Everyone else is going, you know. I can't exactly say I'm not going, can I?'

'Why not just say it!'

The woman said, almost shouting, and the man fell silent.

The woman regained her composure slightly and asked.

'What kind of place is Earth?'

'It seems like a very nice place. The air is still clean, and the food is delicious. There's plenty of leisure, too, and I've taken a liking to something called professional wrestling.'

'What's that?'

'It's where people who have trained their bodies take each other's moves. Even though it hurts, they intentionally take the moves. Isn't that amazing?'

'I don't get it at all. Are you really okay with this? Even if we're separated?'

'If I were okay with it, I wouldn't be talking about this.'

'Don't leave me behind. There's no point in me living alone.'

'Me neither. Let's go together.'

The man took the woman's hand and led her to the edge of the cliff, then moved behind her and delivered a beautiful, parabolic backdrop toward the bottom of the cliff.
