Final Chapter: Still, While Still on the Way
Having read this far,
some of you may have found clarity,
while conversely,
others may feel even more
confused.
But I think that is perfectly fine.
What I have written in this series
is not an answer,
nor a conclusion,
but the very feeling of being in the middle of things.
The time left unspoken.
The feelings left unshared.
The moment you were able to say, "I don't know."
Inside,
the changes that were quietly growing.
None of these
take on a form that is easily recognizable
as proof of moving forward.
Even so,
they are moments that were certainly there.
The state of being in the middle of things
is unsettling, but
at the same time,
it also contains the freedom
of not having to decide just yet.
This series
has been written
to preserve that freedom
as much as possible.
You don't have to take anything away from here.
You don't have to feel like you've understood it.
"I don't really get it, but
I feel a little calmer."
I think that much
is enough.
The time before things become words
is not meant to be shown to anyone else,
but rather, I hope it lives
within you.
This final chapter
is less of an ending,
and more of a place to sit down for a moment.
Still, while still on the way.
And that is fine.
I will pause here for now.
The questions that remain beyond this point have been left in another place.
