A new chapter begins.
I feel this is a song that weaves together the feelings and words that Akina-chan, and we fans, want to convey to each other—and must convey.

There are so many people who have looked up to and admired the existence of Akina Nakamori.
For a long time, she faced absurdities, yet she still returned to us.
Various conflicts and feelings of helplessness probably still exist within her even now.

What comes across in "Sorry, and Love," is something that wasn't in the Akina Nakamori I once expected.
Straight, direct. A fastball.
Pure white, pristine.
Overflowing with kindness.

Every single lyric is an expression of gratitude from Akina-chan to the people around her, and also gratitude from fans like us who kept waiting for her.

I stopped following her for a long time during the period when Akina-chan was likely going through a very difficult time due to those absurdities.
That is why someone like me, more than anyone, needs to say "sorry" to Akina-chan.
I must tell her "I love you" once again.
It is a song that feels like it sees right through those very feelings.

The second verse, in particular, makes me tear up just reading the lyrics. Seeing her smiling throughout the entire music video made me break down in tears.

Including the other two songs, I felt a strong determination that said, "The real Akina Nakamori of today is now going to start walking forward together with all of you."

When it came to Akina-chan, I selfishly expected her to be the strongest, most perfect, and invincible.
"Sorry, and Love," is the whitest, most perfectly pure white Akina-chan in history that I have ever known.
Ahead of her, she has us fans and the colleagues she trusts.
So she is invincible (lol).
That is the kind of song I thought it was. I felt incredibly relieved. I am sure this is what she wanted to do.

I want to talk about the other song, but I will save that for another time.
But it is amazing. Akina Nakamori really is the strongest.
