[Grandpa is thrilled!] Reached 200 text posts in the "Grandpa Saw It!" series!?

I did it! With yesterday's post, the "Grandpa Saw It!" series reached 200 text posts. I'm so happy!

I posted the article about reaching 100 posts on June 26th of last year!!!
Since then, I've continued posting every Saturday and Sunday to reach 200. I'm so happy!

My family is a bit dumbfounded, asking, "How do you have enough material to post that much?"

In my case, I often wander around the websites of the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, but I also occasionally visit the websites of the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to explore the current movements of central government ministries, so I never run out of topics to post about.

For example, in the case of central government ministries,reports and white papers mandated by law are always published as a routine.

Therefore, there are even things I make into recurring annual topics like the ones below, so there are surprisingly many topics.

These kinds of recurring topics increase the predictability and foresight of the future, which is quite interesting. The 2023 edition of the Environmental White Paper has already been released, so I will post about it eventually.

Besides that,expert committee topicshave also been posted many times.

The materials prepared by bureaucrats for expert committees are very well-made for every meeting, and for me, they are a treasure trove of material.

Watching the expert committee meetings, what I find particularly disappointing is"Japan is intolerant of diversity"point.

The Council for Gender Equalityhas been holding meetings since January 2001, and yet we are still among the lowest in the world in the Gender Gap Index.

Truly, Japan's"disease of not wanting to change"is serious.

I am happy to have reached 200 posts, but actually, as I enter my third year of continuous posting on note,I am getting a little bored.

Naturally, I think the readers are getting bored too.

I sometimes feel like they are thinking, "Oh, it'sGrandpa's one-pattern post again."

I have also posted about such thoughts.

Since the world of social media values the timeliness of content and posting themes, posting themes that don't ride the wave of the season don't get a very good reception.

However, I am very grateful that note has excellent features for organizing and saving content as an archive. After all, I started this with the goal of leaving content for my grandchildren.

Furthermore, it is very encouraging that even now, there are readers who find and read the content from my early posts through magazines and the site map.

Since there is self-restraint in the exchange of comments, I feel that a "culture of praise" rather than slander has taken root on note. Well, there seem to be exceptions, but for now, it is a very comfortable world for an elderly grandpa like me.

Some themes that were unconventional posts three years ago have started to be picked up by the media after three years, so the trends are catching up with me.

It is also gratifying that Winny (Isamu Kaneko) was taken up as a subject for a movie, andthe causes of Japan's "disease of not wanting to change" have started to be highlighted.

Surely, the country of Japan, Japanese companies, and the Japanese people will change.

I intend to continue the "Grandpa Saw It!" series every weekend without fail, following the themes I have covered so far, until I reach 1,000 consecutive days of posting.
