[#noteSenryu] #15: The Topic is "Goal Displacement" (71-75)
Well then, the theme this time is "Goal Displacement".
How many things in this world have forgotten their original purpose, with the means themselves becoming the goal?
I have composed some senryu about forgetting such purposes.
The topic for these next five poems is "Goal Displacement"😊😊
Politicians seem to enjoy creating political situations
Originally, I believe politics should be about protecting and improving the peace and livelihoods of the people, with "policy making" being debated heatedly in the Diet, but we don't see that, do we?
You shouldn't be enjoying "political maneuvering" instead of "policy making" because "ousting Kishida" has become the goal, should you?
Kenta Izumi has been chosen as the new leader of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan. By all means, please confront the Liberal Democratic Party with policy making, not political maneuvering.

Just hating constitutional amendment
If you forget "what for?" and "opposition to constitutional amendment" becomes the goal, the world will not improve.
"Opposition to constitutional amendment" should not be the goal. What is the opposition to amendment for?
Even when a state of emergency is declared, we are bound by a constitution that forces us to rely on "voluntary restraint" and "peer pressure"; why do you continue to insist that the constitution must not be amended?
I only pray that opposition to constitutional amendment does not become an end in itself.

Making the number of telework sessions the goal
Even though this is a chance to think seriously about "work-style reform," aren't you making the single means of "telework" the goal?
What are you teleworking for?
If you forget this "what for" and turn the means into the goal, it will end as a mere passing fad that neither increases efficiency nor has any effect on work-style reform.
I think telework is effective when looking at the "child-rearing" generation as a target for work-style reform.
Small children often run fevers or get sick, and "pick-up" calls come in from nursery schools or kindergartens.
For young couples raising children like that, I think telework can be an option that improves productivity for both the individual and the company.
Let's all think about what the purpose of telework is and achieve results.

Seeking public approval rather than thinking about the purpose
There are heads of local governments who are second to none when it comes to coming up with catchy slogans that appeal to the public.Do you remember the 2020 Buzzword Award "San-mitsu" (Three Cs)?
However, I think the 2009 change of government to the Democratic Party of Japan was a typical example of how it is no good for politics to forget its purpose and just line up policies that appeal to the public.
Making expressways toll-free, significantly increasing child allowances, and canceling public works projects (such as the construction of the Yanba Dam) are means, not ends.
For what purpose are you making expressways toll-free?
For what purpose are you significantly increasing child allowances?
Why are you canceling the construction of the Yanba Dam?
If there had been answers to these questions, the results might have been different, right?

Who is junior high school club activity reform for?
Club activities in junior high and high schools have been a point of concern as a cause of long working hours for teachers. It is finally time for reform.
But if we just make "eliminating teachers' long working hours" the goalwithout a "summary of current club activities"—which might have seen amateur teachers crushing rather than blossoming the talents of capable students—it probably won't lead to good reform.
What kind of educational themes should be allocated how much budget?
I would like them to take on club activity reform while clearly envisioning "what kind of young people do we want to raise?" or, to put it another way, "what kind of young people do we want to entrust the future to?"
I have taken up club activity reform as the theme for "Grandpa Saw It!"!?

I received some happy news regarding [noteSenryu] as well.
It seems the way I used hashtags was effective. For the senryu about middle school club reform, "#Education" seemed to work well, and for the telework senryu, "#RemoteWorkDailyLife" hit the mark.
This is all thanks to everyone's "likes." Thank you very much.

Thank you for reading until the end.
If you'd like, please give it a "like" 🤍😊😊
If you leave a comment, I'll be jumping for joy 😂😂😂
