Crucial: Selling and Moving On is Slash-and-Burn Agriculture... The "One and Only" Survey Strategy to Generate Repeat Business and Referrals
The product has been sold, and delivery has been completed successfully.
Do you say "Thank you!" and then just end the relationship there?
If so, you are throwing away the most "lucrative part" of your business down the drain.
With this approach, there is no way repeat business or referrals will ever be generated.
Hello, I am Kiyoyuki Nasu.
The reason I have been able to continue in business for a long time is not because I am good at new business development.
It is because I have built a system to gather feedback from customers I have worked with once, and from there, I generate the next referrals.
What is essential for that is surveys.
Today, I will talk about a post-delivery ritual that many salespeople tend to neglect, but which will definitely increase your sales if you do it.
[Notice]
I built a 100 million yen annual revenue company from the depths of despair with 10 million yen in debt.
I myself was able to turn things around from 10 million yen in debt because I practiced this sales know-how. I have compiled the content into a book.
You can purchase it via the Amazon link, so please take a look.
[Selling and Moving On is the Same as Slash-and-Burn Agriculture]
Many salespeople think the moment they get a stamp on a contract is the goal.
However, for the customer, that is the start.
How was it after actually using the product or service?
Was it as expected, or were there complaints?
Going off to find new customers without checking this is the same as slash-and-burn agriculture.
You will definitely hit a wall someday.
I have completely routinized it to the point where I say "Surveys are a set with sales".
However, when I look around, I feel that "few people do it."
Why don't they do it?
Is it because it is "troublesome"?
Or is it because they are "afraid of hearing bad evaluations"?
Whatever the reason, not gathering customer feedback is the same as abandoning service improvement.
That is not professional work.
[Discard Subjectivity and Collect Data]
"The customer must have been happy."
"They were smiling at the end, so it should be fine."
Please discard such subjective assumptions.
Because you must always think objectively, I make it a rule to always ask.
It can be a text survey, or I sometimes ask directly in an interview format.
The content I hear is not just read and forgotten.
The point is that I "properly list it."
I accumulate both good and bad opinions as data and analyze them.
If I am told, "This explanation was hard to understand," I revise the next sales material.
If I am told, "This was very helpful," I make that the next sales point.
In this way, I use customer feedback to sharpen my own service.
The person who repeats this versus the person who continues the same method without asking anything.
Which one will be winning in a year is clearer than fire.
[Aim for a 70% Top Rating]
When conducting surveys, it is also important to have target values.
I want everyone to be satisfied, but reality is not that sweet.
There is also the issue of compatibility.
If you try to get 100 points from everyone, you will become a people-pleaser, and your service will lose its edge.
That is why I have decided to
"aim for a service where at least 70% are satisfied."
A state where 70% of customers answer, "It was the best!" or "It was better than expected!"
I use surveys to check if I am maintaining this line.
If satisfaction is below 70%, it is a sign that the quality of service has dropped or the target setting is wrong.
You must correct it immediately.
Surveys are like a "regular checkup" to measure whether your business is healthy.
[Surveys Generate Referrals]
Sales and surveys are a set.
Once you deliver, please be sure to listen to the customer's voice.
Collect objective data, not subjective, and maintain a satisfaction rate of 70% or more.
If you do not meet the satisfaction level, repeat service improvements based on customer feedback.
Just by thoroughly doing this, your business will automatically expand.

Even if you improve your service through surveys, there is a limit to continuing to run it alone.
The reason I was able to build a 100 million yen annual revenue company from 10 million yen in debt is because I created not only improvements through surveys but also a "system to utilize customer feedback with partners."
That is "matching sales" and "partner sales."
With this method, by contributing to solving the other party's issues without hard selling, referrals are generated naturally. And, including feedback from partners, you can continue to improve your service from multiple angles.
Now, for those who register for our official LINE, we are giving away the specific methods of matching sales and partner sales for free.
If even one of these applies to you, please register now.
✅ Post-delivery follow-up is thin, and it does not lead to repeat business
✅ You do not know the customer's true evaluation and have vague anxiety
✅ You want to utilize surveys to increase service quality and the number of referrals at the same time
Instead of continuing to improve alone, increase customer satisfaction together with colleagues who resonate with your philosophy. The first step to that is here.
