Daily Musings: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 - Singing Practice 🎤

A story from the day before yesterday.

I got a LINE message from a classmate who I'll be performing with at a live show, asking, "Are you free tomorrow afternoon? Want to go for a lunch course at a karaoke box?"

Well, I'm working like normal, you know.

Even though I thought that, I adjusted my work schedule and went anyway.

It included lunch and free time until 9:00 PM for 1,100 yen (no alcohol).

It was super cheap.

So, I practiced mainly the songs we'll be singing at the live show.

Usually, I'm drinking and listening to my own singing in a bit of a daze, but listening to it sober, my pitch was really off.

I guess I need to practice properly at least two more times.

Still, I'm looking forward to it a little.
