Rest is also important

August is almost coming to an end.
This month has been quite intense, and
it felt like a week only had five days.
Anyway, in the blink of an eye,
every day just flew by...

In the midst of that, I took my camera
and went on a quick outing with my partner, Tomoro-san.

Although I barely encountered any of my favorite wild birds,
I was able to photograph a butterfly dragonfly.

Butterfly dragonflies look different in color
depending on how the light hits their wings.
A dragonfly expert friend of mine
taught me how to tell the males and females apart.

Since I quit my part-time job and started my own business,
I've been staring at a computer screen almost every day.
But sometimes taking a break
to refresh is important, isn't it?
It was a nice change of pace.
