Surprising news from my Zoom call with my sister! 😲
Good morning, everyone.
I had a Zoom call with my sister for the first time in a while, and I heard some surprising news.
It turns out that my older niece had her IQ tested at the hospital, and the results are finally in.
The result was... an unbelievable IQ of 124!
Apparently, this is a very high score for a five-year-old, and even the psychiatrist was surprised. However, the doctor mentioned that an IQ at this age doesn't necessarily stay the same, and it's common for the score to change as a child grows, so it should only be taken as a rough guide.
When I asked my niece about it, she said, "It was fun, like playing a game!" (laughs)
Since the average IQ for this age is said to be around 85 to 105, her number seems to be quite exceptional.
In fact, when I hear that she has memorized over 20 digits of pi, or that she counts and records the names and numbers of animals she sees every day and pastes them into an animal encyclopedia, it really feels like she lives in a slightly different world than other kids her age.
By the way, my niece's dream is to have a job where she can help animals.
As I wrote in a previous post, she started thinking this way after watching a TV program about animal culling.
My sister's family is planning to come visit me this August, and I'm really looking forward to it! 💕
