[AI Video Walk] 10 Selected AI Short Films (ART Style)
Although I call them short films, this time they also include music videos.
The category I chose this time is ART Style. It is close to the non-animated surreal works I wrote about in a previous article, and also includes sci-fi, but I have collected videos that focus on artistic imagery that is uniquely AI.
As AI video continues to expand, I think we are hearing more voices criticizing AI as mere imitation or plagiarism. Therefore, I explored this topic because I believe that works and content with a strong sense of uniqueness—inherent to AI—will become increasingly important.
Therefore, rather than from the perspective of whether it can be mistaken for live-action or whether it is unbelievable that it is AI, I have titled these as ART style because they have a solid worldview and emphasize the artist's individuality. This might show one direction that AI works should head in. Note that these are not videos that simply animate paintings.

This is an evolved form of sci-fi video following recent technological improvements, and it has more storytelling. However, it feels a bit of a waste that the music seems like an afterthought.

I tried making a 'fictional anime MV' using only AI | AI Rhapsody
This is the only selection from the anime genre. Both the design and the world-building are a cut above existing AI anime. The music is also good.
I think AI will naturally permeate content and daily life without even being labeled as AI, but on the other hand, if these videos, which are unique to AI, become topics of conversation in TV program slots or nationwide theatrical releases, I think the awareness and social acceptance of AI will spread even further.
