Only actions you can complete yourself will change the future

I had a major realization about how to create action plans during my coaching session.
I had been deciding on actions somewhat vaguely until now, but this was an opportunity to rethink what an "action plan that truly moves you forward" really is.

There are two particularly important perspectives.

1. It must be measurable (by when / how much)
2. It must be something you can complete entirely on your own

If these two are not met, an action plan becomes "just a wish."

At the pre-work stage, I had cleared the first perspective to some extent, but
looking back, the second perspective of "can I complete this by myself?" was completely missing.
For example, plans like "get introduced by Mr./Ms. XX" or "have Mr./Ms. YY check this."
These are completely "dependent on others" and cannot be controlled as my own actions.

This habit probably comes from my personality, as I enjoy cooperating with people and involving them.
However, the purpose of coaching is to "change yourself." That is precisely whyit is necessary to break things down into actions that you can reliably execute with your own will.

Based on this realization, I redesigned the actions toward the goals I have set.
What I am aiming for is a "state where I increase my ability to communicate as a coach, have influence, and connect it to results."
To that end,I first narrowed down and listed 9 actions to work on by April 26th.

[The action plan I actually created]

  • Search for properties within a 2km radius of the office and contact agents

  • Decide on a height-adjustable desk so it can be purchased immediately after the property is decided

  • Decide on bedding so it can be purchased immediately after the property is decided

  • Complete the Mrcoach tests up to the second one (pass by 4/19)

  • Decide on the coaching service design (make it easy to understand with Pine, Bamboo, and Plum plans)

  • Post 3 times a day on X + 3 quote reposts → Aim for 400 followers

  • Post on note twice a week and aim to get one inquiry

  • Request X follow & spread to all 16th generation members (by 4/12)

  • Request X follow & spread to 3 mentor coaches (by 4/12)

For all of these, I insisted on "actions I can drive myself" where I can decide whether or not to do them.self-driven actions And I set a "deadline" and "success criteria (what state indicates it's OK)" for everything.
I feel that this alone will significantly change the
resolution and execution power of my actions.

An action plan is a map to move forward without just "thinking you've done it."
That is why I want to accumulate "small steps I can take with my own hands" rather than "wishes."
