Coach Kentaro from Chiba visits Okinawa!

Kentaro and Ataru from Chiba were scheduled to participate in last month's Adult Hero Cup.
However, their flight was canceled due to a typhoon in the Kanto region, and they couldn't make it.
I had seeded them second in the Hero Cup expecting them to participate, but
I hope they can adjust their schedules and play an active role in the A-class next time.

I thought you couldn't beat nature, but Coach Imai came from Kanagawa,
took the Shinkansen to Nagoya, and flew to Okinawa from Chubu Centrair International Airport.
That's amazing.

Well, for that reason, Kentaro couldn't make it to Okinawa.

He decided to take a vacation in September for a rematch and visit Okinawa by himself.

He arrived in Okinawa on Friday evening, Miu picked him up at the airport and brought him to my house.
After dropping off his luggage, we went straight to the night junior lesson.
Then someone said, 'Kazu looks weird today,' and he really did look like him.
It was funny, so without even introducing himself, we immediately split into two groups for the lesson.
People who arrived late were asking, 'Isn't that Kazu? Who is that guy?'

After the basic practice, we did introductions, and then Kentaro led the lesson.
He started with strokes, then volleys and serves, checking and correcting everyone.
It's good to review things on an occasion like this.
The juniors also seemed to be having fun and were listening intently.

After practice, Miu and Takaho came to pick us up and we went to a small shop in Oroku called Tsubakiya.
This place is run by a landlady from Iheya Island, and the Okinawan home cooking is super delicious.

It's a hidden gem of a shop for Hero, which can only seat 10 people in total.

We held a welcome party for Kentaro here, and we left the food up to the chef.
We toasted with beer, and of course, Hero had Coca-Cola.

Dish after dish was brought out: stir-fried water spinach, deep-fried tofu,
and miso-stir-fried island octopus. The octopus was tender and super delicious.
Maybe the landlady saw Kentaro's face and realized he was hungry,
because she even brought out curry rice for him.
We also had sashimi of high-end Okinawan fish like blue parrotfish, cuttlefish, and bluespotted grouper.

It was so fresh and super, super delicious! ( ´∀｀ )❤

Kentaro is a good talker and worked hard to liven up the party.
Miu is a good listener and knows how to bring out the best in Kentaro.
Takaho is a good nodder, listening to everyone's stories and agreeing with them.

Each of their personalities created a harmony, and the fun banquet lasted until late.
