Differentiation and Individuality Are Born, Not Made
I don't think anything with a truly meaningful difference is born from things created just to be different.
Individuality is not something you can create by trying to create it.
In the process of a creator pursuing the genuine, differences in their original humanity manifest as differences in technique, sensibility, and creativity, causing parts that are inevitably different from others to seep out, and it is born as a necessary result of that.
When I was in college, I was in the drama club.
During a dance scene, I would try to do the same movements as everyone else, but something would be off. Because of my movements, people would call itthe 'TK Move'.
I was trying quite seriously to do the 'same movements,' but I would always stand out.
That was the moment I became convinced that individuality is something that 'comes out even when you try to hide it.'
(I apologize to everyone I danced with...)
In terms of personality, I don't really like to stand out.
(You won't believe me, but) I really don't.
And yet, apparently, I stand out.
I even met my wife at a cooking class becauseshe spoke to me because I stood out.
I am not aiming for 'differentiation' in my current activities either.
I am just working hard, hoping that my activities can be like filling in puzzle pieces, fitting in things that I think 'would be nice to have in this world.'
There are many times when I feel lost in the days of thinking about questions with no right answers and walking down a path that has no visible signposts. Even so, I have decided that I will always choose the option of 'continuing'.
The other day, a supporter told me, 'I'm glad I supported you.'
To ensure my activities remain that way, I will continue to deliver a future and hope to the children in Syria, and fulfill the goal of
'making Syria a country people want to visit again.'
