What is "Hello My Friend"?

"Region," "Food," and "High School Students" are the themes of this youth film, which is the fourth installment of the "Our Recipe Picture Book Series", a youth sci-fi fantasy produced locally.
The setting is Kiyose City, Tokyo, a place rich in nature that celebrated its 55th anniversary of municipal incorporation in October 2025. Kiyose City, Tokyo. Hayate (Jun Aoi), a second-year high school student obsessed with making sci-fi films, and his eccentric friends from the sci-fi film club encounter a "real alien" that fell into the forest! It depicts a humorous summer where they make the alien their friend and challenge themselves to make a movie together. Surprisingly, despite being a locally produced film, it combines the charm of Kiyose City with the meticulous craftsmanship of the film-loving staff and the passionate acting of the young actors, resulting in a special youth sci-fi fantasy unlike any other!

In fact, the staff at HELLO! MOVIE, including myself, love works featuring costumed aliens, such as the "Alien" series, as well as "Zeiram" and "Psycho Goreman."
While researching new films, I saw the information for this work and was captivated by that adorable alien at first sight. When we sent a love letter asking, "Could you please make it compatible with HELLO! MOVIE?", we were gratefully given permission!

And this is also a memorable work for which our company was in charge of producing the audio guide and subtitle guide for the first time. In the audio guide, we carefully explained the original special effects in the scene where the alien first appears, devising ways so that the appearance can be imagined even from the narration. We also held a monitor session for the audio guide, inviting people with visual impairments. While coordinating with the film's creators, we aimed for a guide that is easier to understand.
In the subtitle guide, we devised ways to enjoy everything from the casual banter of Hayate and the sci-fi film club, to the alien language in the film-within-a-film, and the environmental sounds that leave an impression of the atmosphere of the town of Kiyose, so that you can enjoy the worldview and subtle nuances of the film.
This guide was carefully crafted by our in-house production team with respect and love for the work. Please enjoy it with the guide!

This is a perfect film for adults who want to reminisce about their student days, as well as for those who are currently living their youth. Please experience this heartwarming summer at the theater.
