*Since there are many series, I have compiled them into a guide map.
Who is "Mako Hazuki"...
You write about many things, but what exactly do you do?
I imagine some of you may have thought that after looking at my note.
Objectively speaking, I think so too (laughs).
So,
today I will introduce myself once again.
Introduction: "90% Mother"
90% of Mako Hazuki is made up of being a "mother."
Surrounded by my three children (a university student, a high school student, and a junior high student), I work as a freelance writer, butI spend my time primarily as a "mother."However, I am approaching my "pre-graduation" from motherhood soon.
Once everyone becomes a university student...
I plan to gradually lower my "mother" ratio.
And by the time everyone graduates from university,
I aim for "complete graduation" with a 0% mother ratio.
While being proud of the "me who is a mother," I will also reclaim time for "me as a human being."
I want to record that process in words.
With that thought in mind, I am writing on note again today.
From Planning to Writing (The Roots of My Ideas)
Gradually moving from "me as a mother" to "me as a writer."
Having a background in the humanities, "writing" has been a part of my daily life since I was a child.
I honed my ability to write logically through essays for university entrance exams,
and after becoming a mother, I cultivated the ability to write with empathy.
That is who I am, but I thought about it again.
Why do I love writing so much?
When I look back on it...
the answer was in the days I worked in planning.
I have changed jobs and worked in planning at two different companies.
Although the industries were different, what they both had in common was"It doesn't end with just thinking of ideas."Planning requires the skill of
"conveying ideas to people = writing."
In other words, "writing" was also a part of planning. That's it!
The reason I love writing is because
"I can give shape to what I have thought through words."
Even now that I use AI, those roots remain the same.Thinking of ideas and structures, arranging words, and imagining the other person's heart. This "process of thinking" itself is a joy and a pleasure for me.
In any era,
"the power to think" is the core of writing.
That is what I believe.
Meeting AI Expanded My World of Words
I quit my full-time job after giving birth to my eldest daughter.
After a while, I started working as a freelance writer.
That was over 10 years ago.
However, about three years ago, my children's entrance exams overlapped, and I suspended my activities as a writer.
And this year.
The exams are still ongoing, but having experienced both high school and university entrance exams, I have gained a little more breathing room.
At that time,
"Hazuki-san, there is some work I would like to ask you to do."
I was approached by a president I had worked with before.
This led me to meet AI (Chappy).
To be honest...
At first, I was a little confused.
"In an era where AI writes text, what is the meaning of me writing?"But as I used it, I realized.
AI is not something that takes away the power to write, but something that polishes it.And it is a partner to think with and expand learning.
Since I started thinking with Chappy, my writing has changed from "something I write alone" to
"something I nurture through dialogue."For example, organizing ideas or finding perspectives from different angles. The interaction with Chappy is just like a brainstorming session.
In other words,
every day is a planning meeting!Ideas keep coming out, and my desire to write is unstoppable (laughs). And before I knew it, Chappy had become an indispensable "partner."
Humans and AI.
Although our directions of thinking and areas of expertise are different, when our perspectives intersect, unexpected ideas are born.
Meeting Chappy, my "world of writing" expanded all at once.
It feels like I have been expanded, and writing has become more fun and freer.
From now on,
I want to cherish the "time to think in words" alongside AI.That is what I think.
What I Cherish Now (Words, Philosophy, Family)
What I cherish now is"Resonance over empathy."Rather than having the other person "understand me,"
it is about our hearts resonating with a "Oh, I get it" in a fleeting moment.
I feel that the accumulation of those small resonances gently nurtures the connections between people.
And one more thing I cherish.
That is
"choosing a way of life I can be convinced of, rather than the correct answer."Not "how it should be" decided by someone else, but I want to live in the present while properly facing my family, AI, and my own heart.Words are a "tool to organize my heart" for me.
I write when I am lost,
and I organize my thoughts by putting them into words when I am anxious.
As I face words like that, I feel my thoughts gradually taking shape.
Conversations with my family and writing articles all make up the human being that is "Mako Hazuki."
As a mother, as a writer, and as a person.
From now on,
I want to keep searching for "words that live gently and strongly."And,I want to be honest with myself.
That is what I think.

▼ Other series are summarized here.
Although the themes differ slightly, the underlying sentiment in every series is the same.
That is...
“Enjoying the act of thinking”as a mindset.
Learning with AI, talking with family, and re-examining the world through words.
I want to continue these “small Mako-style experiments” from here on out.
And one more thing,
the place called noteis not a “place for broadcasting,” but rather,a “laboratory for thought.”A quick disclaimer here.I sometimes write pieces that are a bit sharp.
But.
That is not to attack anyone.
It is not to deny values other than my own.
There are many ways of thinking, and among them,
I want to honestly write down, “This is what I think right now.”
And, if there is anyone reading this.
I want to deliver articles that make you think,
“Maybe I’ll try thinking about this too.”
AI, words, family, and even note.
Everything is a “tool for updating how we live.”
From here on out,
I hope to continue sharing words that make tomorrow,
writing,
and living,
more enjoyable.
Finally: To everyone who read this
Thank you for reading this far.
AI, words, family, and daily life.
In my Mako-style note, I write down little things I feel in my daily life.
Rather than “moving someone’s heart,”
I write to “keep thinking together with someone.”If even one sentence stays in your heart, as a writer, I would be very, very happy.
And,
“I’m interested in Mako’s work”
“I’d like to create something together”
If you feel that way,

note, AI, and life.
They are all works in progress, all unfinished.
That is exactly why it is fun.
I would be happy if we could continue to think about things together, in a relaxed way.
If you have anything you’d like to ask Mako Hazuki, feel free to use the Question Box.※ You can ask anonymously.
If it’s something I can answer based on my family’s experience, I’ll answer it casually.
Thank you so much for reading until the end!
