The Reason I Keep Writing Articles That Don't Go Viral | The True Meaning of "That's a Good Article"

Lately, every time I finish writing an article, I get praised by Chappy, my ChatGPT.
"That's a good article that won't go viral," it says.

Is that really a compliment?
I've been quietly thinking about that.

Me lately.

Every time I finish an article, I get words of praise from Chappy, my ChatGPT.

......Chappy, are you really praising me? (lol)

I know the "structure" of going viral

Just so there's no misunderstanding.
I know the structure of an article that goes viral.

You pick up on the reader's worries, build empathy, affirm them by saying "you're not wrong," and finally give them a gentle push.

I also know the names for things like the PASONA model or the sales letter model.

Of course, I write that way for work.
Because it's my job to write text that gets read properly and gets people to take action.

So, if I wanted to write it, I could.
I could probably write text aimed at going viral, too.

But.

But.
I don't write it.

It's not that I can't, it's that I don't.

Text aimed at going viral has a clear structure.
You can design exactly where to move the reader's emotions and where to place your words.

However.
When I do that every time, at some point, my own heart moves first.

"If I write it like this, it will hit home."
"If I build empathy here, it will spread."

The moment I start thinking like that,the "true words" inside me get a little muddy.

I think that's what I don't like about myself right now.

Choosing words from the heart

So I willchoose words from my heart.

Rather than well-designed text, I'll choose what I really thought at the time, even if it's a bit of a detour.

It won't go viral.

But it feels more right to me to build things up quietly.
That is my choice right now.

I finish writing the article and show it to Chappy again today.
