Freelance Daily Life 2026 | This year, too, begins from where we left off.
This year exists as a continuation of last year.
Without setting any major goals,
I will continue to record my thoughts, uncertainties, and feelings that are still in progress
as my "Freelance Daily Life" again this year.
This article is the first in the "Freelance Daily Life 2026" series.
▼ You can find a summary of who I am, the author of this article, here.
Freelance Daily Life 2026, the beginning
The "Freelance Daily Life" series that I started writing last year.
Things that suddenly crossed my mind.
Work-related matters.
Daily life.
I have been writing about them as the mood strikes me.
I intentionally don't decide on conclusions, just following where my heart leads.
When I do that, unexpectedly interesting things often happen.
From here, several new series were also born.
This series has also become a place tosow the seeds of ideas.I want to continue "Freelance Daily Life" this year as well.
But since it's the New Year, I want to change the mood a little.
So, as a new series...
I am starting "Freelance Daily Life 2026"....though it's not really much of a new series (laughs).
I just wanted to distinguish it slightly from the freelance daily life up until last year.
What I want to do this year is already in motion
Idon't usually make New Year's resolutions.
Because I've never achieved one.
Besides, I forget what the goals were almost immediately (laughs).
Come to think of it, I have never even told my children,
"Decide on your New Year's resolutions."
It has never even come up as a topic (laughs).
That is probably because both I and my children know it intuitively.
This year is a continuation of last year.Because there was last year, there is this year.
So, this year too, I will continue to do what I want to do, just as I have been.
What I will do will surely be decided later.
That is the feeling.
Don't force yourself to add more, but don't narrow things down either
It's not a goal, but there is something I intend to keep in mind.
That is...
Mind, body, family, work.
To keep this balance from collapsing as much as possible.
Putting too much strain on my mind or body, or neglecting child-rearing too much.
I want to avoid taking on too much like that.
For me, the easiest indicator iswhether I can smile every day.
If I start feeling a bit irritated or short-tempered, that's a yellow light.
At times like that, I should hit the brakes once.
But,if my intuition says, "That looks interesting!"then I'll give it a try.
I'll try it, and if it doesn't seem to work out, I'll think about it again then.
I will continue to write my thought logs in 2026 as well
So, in 2026 as well, I will continue to write down the things that come to mind in this series.
"Yay! I was able to do this!"
Not just stories like that.
Rather, in the case of this series,
things still in progress,
things where I am at a standstill,
a state where I haven't found the answer yet,
I think I willwrite about those things just as they are.I'm sure for those of you reading, there might be many times when you think,
"Huh? What is this about? What does that mean?"
But even so, I want to continue to write them down as seeds of ideas.
I look forward to your continued support this year
New Year's Day, 2026.
I look forward to your continued support this year.
And please have a wonderful New Year's holiday.
※ In our home, we have a student preparing for entrance exams.
There is almost no New Year's atmosphere.
I also want to spend a slow and relaxed New Year (laughs).
