Hinata-guchi (Positive Gossip)
[Hinata-guchi (Positive Gossip)]... Some of you might have guessed it from the shape and atmosphere of the characters.
Hinata-guchi is a coined term created as an antonym to 'kageguchi' (backbiting), referring to the act of spreading praise for an individual to third parties.
Conversely, kageguchi is a form of curse—a technique where one spreads malicious gossip to third parties, infecting the group with it, and cursing the individual.
'Curse' is a strong word, but... it is that powerful of a technique, and in the hands of someone who knows how to use it... it can truly harm an individual.
...Adolf Hitler, famous as a dictator, was a master of mass agitation.
He made full use of his body, time, place, and words to manipulate the group and target the individual.
The scale might feel large, but... I hope you have understood that kageguchi is a dark technique that is no exaggeration to call a curse.
And, a curse always returns to oneself...
If you do not know how to use it, its dangers, or the proper dosage, it is not something you should touch recklessly...
I want you to remember... it will always return to you.
...It has become a bit ominous, but the protagonist of this article is its antonym, [Hinata-guchi].
In Harry Potter terms... I want you to master 'Expecto Patronum'.
---So, once again, [Hinata-guchi] is a technique of spreading praise for an individual to third parties.
As for the benefits:
- When the praise you spread reaches the person from a third party, it gains persuasiveness and authenticity, leading to an improvement in self-esteem.
- When you talk about praise for an individual with third parties within the same community or team, the atmosphere of the environment improves.
- No one dislikes someone who always speaks words of praise instead of malice, backbiting, complaints, or grumbling.
As you can see from the above, your reputation within the environment will improve, and the environment itself will change into a better atmosphere.
You could call it... 'Mass Agitation of the Sun'---.
If this behavior is etched into your brain, you will be able to build relationships in any community.
By the way, regarding the content of the praise, please read the article on [Praise].
If [Praise] is an approach toward an individual, then [Hinata-guchi] is simply directing that vector toward the environment.
...How was it?
Speaking well of others is an excellent technique for building relationships on an environmental scale, and with a small group... it allows an individual to create a team with a great atmosphere and strong unity.
Of course, maintaining that requires a sense of balance and the ability to adjust, and since there is no guarantee that there won't be enemies like 'Takers'... sometimes it becomes necessary to wage a modern-style war, though...
Well, this deviates from building human relationships, so if there's an opportunity, I'll talk about it somewhere else... lol
