"By the way, you know how there are guardian deities, right?"

I thought one of them had suddenly changed the subject, but...

"Don't you think Honekawa Sujiemon's guardian deity might be Benten?"

The people who heard this were surprised.

"He's the all-purpose hero of the Reiwa era, Honekawa Sujiemon, isn't he?"
"Why would it be a female deity?"

When they wondered about this,

He told them this and bestowed a blessing with a faint swish, swirl, plop, thud.
