The reporter secretly took up residence in Note-cho and followed those associated with the Honekawa family day and night. He wanted to track down the Honekawa mansion, but every time he got one step away, they would vanish into thin air.

Thinking this, he disguised himself as a cleaner within the Note police force and waited for a chance. One day, he spotted Honekawa Sujiemon returning home with a staggering gait. Thinking this was his chance, he followed him, but Sujiemon was sucked into an apartment only about 2cm tall that was sitting on the side of the road.
'Huh? You've got to be kidding me?'
He observed the mini-mini dollhouse from all sides, but there was no one inside. Eventually, the reporter began to doubt whether Honekawa Sujiemon even existed, and overcome with fear, he left Note-cho.
The reporter's intrusion had been discovered from the start, and he had been made to see an illusion by the HONEKAWA system.
