[#CreativeAwardsReview] sanngo's egg-laying is the long-awaited suspense drama!
This is a review of the novels by sanngo, who goes by the name Sango Natsuno on TALES. Last year, I was so captivated by sanngo's essays in the Creative Awards that I even asked to write a review for them, which is what this is.
She has written many works that could be called the gold standard for tear-jerking essays. She is not only good at making people cry, but she is also skilled at writing pieces that warm the hearts of the many noters who gather in the comments section and fill them with laughter.
Actually, she has been writing novels occasionally since last year. The novels she writes are full of entertainment, whether they are horror, violence, or mystery. Last year, every time sanngo wrote a novel, I kept telling her, "You absolutely must enter the novel category!" However, it seems it wasn't the "spawning" season for her novels last year, and she ended up only submitting essays. But then, guess what!
This year, sanngo finally made her novel debut!
Thank you for completing it! I'm so glad I got to read it!
Every time I got a notification for a new chapter, Hiromi Iwasaki's lullaby would play in my head,
Cha-chan-charararara...
Zun-zun-zun-zun-tururu-tururu...
Ja-chan! Ja-chan!
And I would go to read it while humming along. Since it's a work that is also familiar as a top-ranked piece on TALES, I'm sure many of you have seen the title, haven't you?
This story features quite a few black-hearted people, but because the author, Sango Natsuno, develops the story without ever losing sight of the reader's perspective, it doesn't feel unpleasant. That doesn't mean it lacks punch, though; there are many moments where you'll think, "No way!"
The reason it can be enjoyed like the two-hour dramas that were popular in the past is likely because Sango Natsuno sets the story within the upper class and the underworld, places where things don't happen in ordinary households. It is crafted as an entertainment novel where you can enjoy dramatic developments that feel like they could happen in reality, yet take place in a world far removed from your own. Readers are thrilled by the twisted human relationships that occur in the elegant world often seen in dramas. This work,
The writing style that keeps you turning pages
The downfall of the villains
The heartbreaking, unrequited love
are exquisitely intertwined, leading you into the world of suspense drama. It is a wonderful work that teaches you what entertainment is all about. If you haven't read it yet, please do. You can experience a level of satisfaction that lives up to its ranking.
Here is the essay that pierced my heart last year👇
It is packed with love. I felt that it is precisely because Sango Natsuno knows what true love is that she is able to depict such entertainment.
