🌊Adventure was right here at home, too🧗♀️
Honestly, every day is an adventure💦
I have four children at home.
One is in the third grade of elementary school.
They've started having a sixth period,
and science and social studies have begun as well.
As a parent, I have to grade their homework,
and in addition to the usual kanji and math drills,
science and social studies have been added too🤭 lol
What's more,
they tell me the day before,
“Something is starting tomorrow,” or
“I need to bring more things to school” (lol)
I try to plan ahead to some extent,
but they easily exceed my expectations🤭
The second and third children are in their final and first years of nursery school.
They are full of energy from the moment they wake up.
While singing songs,
they start building with Plarail tracks,
or start reading picture books.
As a parent,
I just want them to eat breakfast first, but...😐💦
Well, they don't listen, do they? (lol)
The fourth child is one year old.
From the morning, they are very insistent about being held🤭
But,
every child is truly different.
Some love books,
some love singing.
Their physical strength,
and even their skin sensitivity are different.
So, it's common for someone to come down with a fever.
At times like that,
my wife and I work as a team.
“I'll go to the hospital,”
“Okay, then I'll get the bath and dinner ready here.”
Sometimes we meet at the hospital,
and I end up bringing three of them home.
Every day,
we have to be flexible🤭
The old me
thought that adventure meant going to foreign countries
or traveling to unknown, distant lands.
But now,
I think that being at home is a much more unpredictable, grand adventure (lol)
Four children.
Honestly,
nothing goes according to plan every day💦
But,
the excitement and thrills I used to think I could only feel
by going far away,
I now experience every day right here at home🤭
I think raising children
is quite an adventure (lol)
If you can relate,
I would be happy if you could support me with a like or follow😊
