The avocado I've been growing since last year is growing day by day, and I'm as happy as if it were my own child
I wanted a houseplant, but since I couldn't find anything I really liked, I decided to grow an avocado.

After about a week, sprouts and roots will emerge from the seed, so once they do, prepare a container deep enough to cover the roots and continue growing it.
I heard that as it continues to grow, you can transplant it into a pot and it will get even bigger.
And now,

The one on the right is the avocado from the first picture that has grown. The one on the left is an avocado I started growing two months later.
I failed when I tried this before because the seed rotted before any sprouts or roots appeared, so I'm happy I managed to succeed this time! When growing avocados, Starbucks Frappuccino cups are highly recommended because they have a great balance for the avocado roots and water.
I look at these little ones every day, and there's a new discovery every day, like 'Did it grow a little taller than yesterday?' or 'Wait, was it always this big?' and now I cherish them like my own children. Plus, they are very well-behaved; they grow on their own without needing any special care, making them such reliable children.
I'm thinking about transplanting the avocado on the right into a pot this year, but I haven't found a pot I'm satisfied with yet, so it might stay like this for a while.
The avocado on the left is also growing larger leaves and its sprouts are shooting up, so I hope it continues to grow reliably just like this.
According to my research, it seems they can even bear fruit if you grow them for about five years, but I wonder if it will go well... 🥑 It's also fun to imagine what kind of dish I'll make with them once I harvest them.
I hope they continue to grow up healthy.
