combined them,
and amplified the power!

Method

I think it would be fun to share Obsidian within the school (^^♪

Current Situation

In terms of duties, at every school, the "administrative folders" are neatly organized into hierarchies and designed to make information easy to retrieve, butthere is no "interference" between folders (between administrative tasks), and whether we try to carry out routine initiatives or start something new, collaboration with other departments is essential, and we are forced to pay the cost of coordination.

Proposal

How about utilizingObsidianvia the school LAN?
Since it is locally stored software, there is no risk of information leakage, and if installed on each terminal and connected within the school, individual ideas can be linked, revitalizing administrative work. Teachers can enjoy their work by generating ideas, and if those ideas are connected through Obsidian, they can also foster relationships with colleagues.
Accumulate ideas on a daily basis, hold an "Idea Review Meeting" once a month, and implement those with high feasibility one after another.

Reason

・Many administrative tasks require coordination between categories.
・There must be commonalities in the "troubles" and "desires" of each administrative division, grade level, and club activity. Visualize them as "everyone's issues" through Obsidian.

Process

① Management (or the digital coordinator) creates a basic Vault (folder) structure in advance. Also, decide on the basic guidelines for how to use "tags" and "links".
② Conduct a lecture for all staff on how to leave notes in Obsidian. About 2 hours.
③ Each teacher generates ideas daily to make administrative work smoother and more enjoyable. Accumulate those ideas in Obsidian with tags. Do not include personal information.
④ Use the graph view to "relate" the hierarchical administrative folders, visualize ideas with high affinity, and then talk about realizing those ideas with the relevant departments or all staff. Casual conversation is fine.

Teachers of the Future

They are teachers who keep leaving ideas behind.
And teachers who try to relate many ideas to each other.
The keywords are "constant process" and "maintaining relationships."

To make work "your own," "records" and "excitement" are essential (*^_^*)
