It is not medical care, not just fitness, not just psychological counseling; I want to address the fluctuations themselves
Good morning, everyone.
This is ExW Tora.
The other day, a dream story? ( ´艸`)
I really want to make it a reality.
Well, I'm thinking about it over a long span.
My main research focus is women's health promotion. And,
I have faced women with fluctuations many times.
・People who have experienced oppression as women: Women who have accumulated experiences of being told "You're noisy for a woman" with "quite high frequency"... The interview with a woman who reflexively slapped the cheek of someone who told her "You're a woman, so get married quickly and disappear!" was really fun...
・Women who have experienced dramatic physical and mental changes during the prenatal and postnatal periods: Over 4,000 people... It's tough... Their bodies are falling apart, their children cry every day, but they are cute. Days of contradiction, 365 days a year... They fluctuate wildly. Their hearts. And their bodies don't easily return to normal either.
・Menopause: This is also (though individual differences are quite large) a time when the body is falling apart. Hot flashes, dizziness, lower back pain, headaches, lethargy, etc. Urinary incontinence also occurs with quite high frequency...
...how should I put it.
It is not medical care, not just fitness, not just psychological counseling; I want to address the fluctuations themselves
that is what it is.
Although research has progressed quite a bit...
●Concept: The following four
① "A place where history, approval, and curiosity can coexist"
Exactly this from the previous article...😊
② "A place to calm your breathing while learning the form"
Why don't you try breathing veeeeeery slowly? 😊
Your mind will calm down. Even if it's just temporary, let's calm down first.
3. 'A place to get centered! It's not just fitness'
This is probably what I want to say the most (#^.^#)
I'm not good at just fitness (;^ω^) or rather, I dislike it...
4. 'A space to regain agency from the body'
Based on my 25 years of research, my realization is that it starts from the body. And then the mind...
I want to take this practice
and use it as a model → turn it into data → and make social proposals.
I have that thought as well. My current research serves as the baseline for this.
Before, I used to think, why is it so hard to live as a woman? But I think I can finally see a future other than 'fighting'.
For the first time,
I think I can concretely... envision a future that is neither 'completely protecting' nor '120% fighting'.
Perhaps the reason I've come to think that way is because
I have been writing about various topics at length here in ExW?
I just suddenly felt that... Thank you again for today (__)😊
