The Battle Against Gray Hair in My Late 40s
Thank you for coming to the Luck-Boosting Auntie page again today.
May your hair be in good condition.
Unfortunately, I have a lot of gray hair
Unfortunately, I have a lot of gray hair, and my part turns completely white in about 3 to 4 weeks.
I would really like to get it dyed at a hair salon every month, but even a root touch-up at a specialized hair coloring salon costs about 3,000 yen, which is a lot.
Every 3 to 4 weeks, I dye just the area around my face and my part myself, and within two months, I have a professional root touch-up done at a gray hair specialty salon.
When I dye it myself, I have always used Salon de Pro's Odorless Gray Hair Dye, and it really helps that it has very little odor.
It is also a blessing that I can use it in two separate applications if I am only doing my part.
Despite the cost of hair salons
Despite the effort, time, and money spent on hair straightening twice a year and monthly gray hair coloring, my hair is dry and frizzy due to aging and graying.
After my bath, I apply Orbis's popular Hair Milk from @cosme before drying it, and it feels good when applied to the ends.
In the dry winter months, I also add a tiny bit of Muji's jojoba oil just to the ends.
I want to stop dyeing my gray hair when I retire
I plan to retire completely after I turn 65, and I am thinking of stopping the gray hair dye along with my retirement.
Well, I suppose I will just think of this as a form of discipline and keep dealing with it.
Thank you for reading this far.
May your hair be healthy and shiny.
