A Hawaiian adventure to savor the feeling of 'I'm glad to be alive!' wrapped in a beautiful sunset. ~A journey to be healed by the ultimate sunset after walking 35 kilometers round trip.~

Week 32 Topic
'What is something you want to challenge yourself with this year?'
◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆
My biggest challenge this year. It is...
【To hike the Kalalau Trail on Kauai, Hawaii, and witness the ultimate sunset at Kalalau Beach!】
To those of you thinking, 'A sunset in Hawaii? Why not just watch it gracefully in Waikiki with a cocktail in hand?' You're naive—sweeter than pancake syrup.
The Kalalau Trail is about 35 kilometers round trip. It is considered the most dangerous and most magnificent hike.
Along the way, there is a 'Crazy Cliff' waiting for you, where one wrong step means a guaranteed direct attack on the Pacific Ocean. It's more of a survival mission than trekking. Why would I want to go that far?
Because,
Only after taking one step after another with my own two feet, a 'golden sunset' that seems prepared by the gods awaits.
Of course, the journey isn't all easy.
I'll be gasping for air on steep slopes, my legs will be swollen, and by the time I reach the goal, my legs will surely be trembling like a 'newborn fawn'.
But that trembling is proof that I lived with all my might and reached paradise under my own power.
Leaving behind the convenient digital devices of daily life, covered in sweat, feeling the wind, and reclaiming my wild heart.
I want to give myself that kind of 'ultimate holiday' where both mind and body return to a pure state.
My plan right now is this:
1. For the first hour, I'm hiking happily with excitement.
2. When I reach the cliff area, a bit of anxiety crosses my mind. Even so, I'll show off my crab-like side-stepping and somehow clear it.
3. The moment I arrive at the beach, before I can cry with emotion, I'll collapse onto the sand from sheer exhaustion.
4. And then, while watching the burning sunset, I'll tremble with the mixed feeling of emotion and reality: **'Wait, I have to walk this same path back, don't I?'**
Truly, a great adventure that burns with life.
At the end of this year, I dream of being able to report to you all that I've grown a bit bigger (or become lean and muscular) with a wonderful smile dyed by the sunset.
I'd be happy if you praised me then.
In 2026, I'm going to become a wild child of Hawaii!
