■ Synopsis
Hanimaru spent his days feeling unfulfilled, despite dreaming of owning his own cafe in the future. One day, he encountered a mysterious couple who, despite being clearly busy, always seemed to be laughing and having a good time. They ran a food truck that drew a two-hour-long line. Even when trouble arose, they maintained an unshakable sense of composure. Why were they able to be that way? Seeking the answer, Hanimaru asked to become their apprentice, and before him appeared a mysterious entity. A 'Cat God' who would appear out of nowhere and leave behind words that struck at the heart of the matter. Through daily events and those words, Hanimaru gradually learned what 'composure' really is. It wasn't a technique, but a way of being. This is a story of growth, where 'mental composure' changes a person and leads them toward happiness.

■ Introduction
This story was born from a remake of
[Stories That Might Change Japan's Future] that I have been writing on note.
Throughout this series, I arrived at one conclusion:
“Having composure leads to happiness.”
If that is true, then as more people gain composure,
our relationships, the way we work,
and society as a whole should gradually improve.
I wanted to convey this idea not just as information,
but in a way that truly reaches someone's heart.
When I thought about that,
a “story” felt like the most natural fit.
This work is packed with
“the mindset for maintaining composure”
that my wife and I have discussed and discovered many times while running our crepe shop. I would be happy if this story could, even in a small way, serve as a catalyst for creating gentle white space in someone's heart.
◾️ A Message from Me
And actually, this theme of “mental composure” is deeply connected to:
・ The autonomic nervous system
・ How we use our bodies
・ Relieving muscle tension
as well.
When there is white space in the mind,
white space is also created in the body.
This story is also a depiction of
the connection between mind and body
and the “happiness” that lies beyond it,
viewed from a different angle.

“I would be happy if this story reaches someone's heart.”
I am writing with that sentiment in mind.
If you would like,
I would be happy if you could read even just a little bit of it.
⸻
May this story
create a little “white space”
within you.
