Spinning Wheels Start
Last time, I talked about how I got dumped because I only had 2,000 yen in my wallet.
The title isn't very clever and it's embarrassing, but it's really just like that, and getting dumped by a guy I didn't even like because of 2,000 yen is even less cool than the title.
Well, maybe it's even less cool that I only had 2,000 yen in my wallet...
By the way, currently, I only have 1,000 yen in my wallet.
How much cash do you all really have in your wallets? I hear this asked a lot lately.
Friends say things like they have 50,000 yen because they just withdrew their living expenses,
or that they always keep 100,000 yen because they've been sucked into the darkness of magic cards. I'm left thinking, is it really just me...? Though I don't seem to have learned my lesson, if I have PayPay and a card, I'm usually fine anywhere these days.
Last weekend, I was making dinner at home and enjoying a relaxing weekend. When I happened to look at my phone, I saw a missed call from a gentleman I had gone out for drinks with once, 30 minutes earlier.
I thought, 'Huh?' but replied with a message instead of calling back.
'Was that a mistake? Were you inviting me somewhere? I wasn't out today.'
After a while, I got another message back.
Gentleman: 'I was just wondering where that bar you took me to the other day was.'
Ahhhhhhhhh
So that's what it was.
I muttered to myself.
'It's this one,' I said, sending him the URL for the map.
'No, I figured it out already.'
I didn't reply to this, but I've been dumped on my own again!
How outrageous!
No, it's fine, whatever.
So uncool~
If you already knew the place, couldn't you have just said you figured it out in the first message?
Should I have said, 'I thought you were asking me out, how embarrassing for me to be so self-absorbed!'? No, that's impossible.
More than me, it's a place run by a bearded old guy (like the owner of Yabaku's Ku-chan)! Well, I like the place, so I get it!!
November has also started with me spinning my wheels!
The other day, I finally mustered the courage to knock on the door of a hair salon.
When I went in as a new customer, the color and cut were completely different from what I had in mind, and I'm confused. I think I was satisfied right after it was cut, but after a few days... even though it cost over 20,000 yen, I don't feel like going anywhere else to get it fixed. My sideburns were cut off, and all my friends burst out laughing.
A friend who works at a beauty salon said, 'Short sideburns only look good on people up to their late 20s at the latest. If I saw someone with short sideburns without hearing this story, I'd just think they must be exhausted. And wow, they really did cut them quite a bit.'
Being told that so matter-of-factly actually felt good. Am I a masochist?
I was growing my hair long to get that 'mass-produced girl' vibe, but I'll do my best to go short by the end of the year.
I won't let anything get me down~
It's not like I'm going to die~
It's life experience~
It's just more material for my note~
Just breathing my way toward the end of the year~
