Shepherds have an image of being strong dogs.

But perhaps true strength

is not the power to hurt someone,

but the kindness that seeks to protect someone precious.

Today's partner is a Shepherd🐾

Those eyes gazing into the distance

are surely meant to protect someone special.

Though I may look strong,

I am actually kinder than anyone else.

You became strong to protect those who are precious to you, didn't you?

When I look at a Shepherd like that,

I feel like I am reminded of

the peace of being protected,
