A Wonderful Time💫
In early February, my daughter's hobby band was performing at a live show, so I came down from the mountains and headed to Tokyo☺️✨
The forecast for that day was snow.
Although I had tripped at work and had a sore foot, my heart was feeling warm and fuzzy🌷🌈
Since she was a student, my daughter has always been close to music, playing in brass bands and forming bands with friends.
Sometimes she would come home and practice the keyboard, bass, and singing until late.
She said she couldn't practice in her apartment, and since we live in the mountains, there are almost no complaints from neighbors.🤭
Seeing her practice so intensely even though she was tired from work made me smile, but it also made me worry that she might break her health.
The other day, she said, "The live show is coming up, but I've only got about 30% of it down. What should I do?"
When I said, "Oh, really? You've been working so hard until now,"
she didn't seem convinced and practiced until late before going home.
I don't know much about music, but from an outsider's perspective, it didn't seem like it was only 30%.
Having been trained in the brass band club since she was young, my daughter is very sensitive to slight pitch deviations and rhythm mismatches.
But now, it's music she plays just to have fun and get together with everyone as a break from work.
Sometimes I felt like she was tormenting herself because of old habits.
I always hope she can just enjoy playing.
It had been about eight years since I last listened to my daughter perform seriously... not since I heard her band play at her junior college's school festival.
Since they don't perform many times a year, I thought I should have gone more often... and decided that I would go from now on.✨
After getting a little lost, I arrived at the live house, exchanged a few words with my daughter, and waited for their turn with a pounding heart.
She had practiced so much, so she would be fine.🌷✨ Even though it wasn't me performing, I was nervous.😅
In the small venue, many music friends, their families, and acquaintances gathered and surrendered their bodies to the music.
There was even a band covering songs by Spitz, which I love, and it made me feel relieved.
When it was my daughter's turn, I moved to the front so I could see better.
The first song was a performance by my daughter and the person she is planning to walk through life with.✨💖
They performed a cover of a song called "Geeek."
My daughter seems laid-back, but when I listen to songs like this, I feel her worldview expanding more and more.✨
Along with my daughter's singing voice, the sound of the keyboard and his guitar echoed like a dream.
⭐They chose a song by the rock band Aooo (Note: this person is not my daughter☺️) ↓
After that, the other members joined in, and they performed fun, upbeat songs and ballads.
"It was so wonderful!✨ It was amazing!🩷"
I told them that and had a fun chat with my daughter's music friends.
After listening to the last band's songs,
I said goodbye to my daughter and her friends, saying thank you and see you later, and left the live house.
When I was heading home, I wondered if the snow would pile up and keep me from moving, but the snow had melted on the roads, and the car was able to drive safely.
Wow, lucky!✌️ God, thank you for letting me go today!🤗
I thought.
It was a day where my daughter's smile and singing voice remained in my heart, and I felt so full.✨
To A-chan, thank you for your hard work.☕
Your performance was so wonderful.🩷
Thank you so much for letting me experience such a wonderful time with so many music friends.🙏😌💖
🍀Today's illustration is completely different from the image of the song, but I drew it as a mother's sentiment.🤗
Thank you for reading again today.😊💕
