Finding the Essence of a Problem

I recently experienced an event I didn't want, but by talking about it to a close friend, I was able to discover the essence of the problem.
I would like to talk about that this time.

Discovering the essence of a problem by talking to someone

When an unwanted event occurs, I usually use the "problem-solving ability" I have honed while running a business to calmly take my time to think and solve it, asking myself, "Why did this happen?"

It is often said that "being a president is a problem-solving job,"
and since I have had to solve many problems every day, I believe I have the ability to resolve even sudden troubles, but there are times, like this one, when I cannot solve things with my own thinking.

At such times, I try talking to someone I trust.
This time, I called a close friend I have known for a long time.

We have a truly long and deep relationship and have talked about everything, so we know each other well, and they always understand the content even if I only talk a little.

It was the same this time.

After listening to my story, my friend pointed out a certain point.
I didn't think that was important, but when I told them that, they insisted that "that is the essence of the story" and continued to speak.

And as we continued talking, I realized that the point my friend pointed out was indeed the "essence" of this problem.
As a result, I had been focusing on the somewhat superficial parts, while my friend had found the fundamental part.

Therefore, it goes without saying that it led to a solution to the problem, and it became an opportunity to know myself more deeply, leading to a conversation that would influence not only this problem-solving but also my future way of life.

When unexpected events or sudden troubles occur, people lose their composure and become agitated. Solutions derived in such situations are usually not good. By talking to a third party who can judge calmly, you may be able to find the essence of things.

The concept of "Jiin Jika" (Self-Cause, Self-Effect)

I also tweeted about this yesterday, but when a problem occurs, shallow-minded people blame someone or something else. Wise people pursue the true cause by asking, "What should I have done?" and make it a future task. And they immediately take action toward that task!
I think that a difference in the starting point of thinking creates a big difference in self-growth ability.

One of my favorite phrases is「Jiin Jika (Self-Cause, Self-Effect)」.
It is the idea thatthe results that happen to you, both good and bad, are all born from your own actions..

With a deep understanding of this, when you cannot find an answer, I think it is good to talk to someone you trust, like I did this time.
Even if it is not a formal consultation, just talking about it lightly may lead you to the essence of the problem through the perspective of a third party with a calm eye.

And in order to take "good actions" that do not cause problems in the first place,whether you are "loved" is very important.
I suddenly mentioned "love," but people can take powerful and correct actions by being loved.

Hearing this, many people might think it means being loved by someone else, but this is not about relying on others.

It is about whether you love yourself deeply.

People who do not love themselves tend to act blindly.
By acknowledging and loving yourself on a daily basis, you can take relaxed and correct actions.

And when something unwanted happens and you think you cannot solve it yourself, why not try talking to someone you trust instead of falling into despair?

That is all.
