The "Hacobell Supporters Program" recently launched its member-only website, but what exactly is this program?

With the ability to easily purchase everything from clothing and daily necessities to food, beverages, and large furniture online, and the mainstreaming of peer-to-peer sales, logistics has now become a daily necessity not just for companies, but for individuals as well.

Furthermore, home delivery services that allow for precise time slots and accurate arrival, logistics networks that kept goods flowing from stores even during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the meticulous nature of driver operations are all things that can be called Japan's world-class "logistics quality."

However, due to the "2024 Logistics Problem," the industry faces a significant shortage of truck drivers—in other words, a labor shortage—which has raised serious concerns that the traditional, stable, and high-quality logistics we have known may no longer be sustainable.

So, what is the "Hacobell Supporters Program" that was born from this?

The "Hacobell Supporters Program" was launched in October 2022 to provide comprehensive support for the business environment. It works by having Hacobell partner with companies (supporters) that provide services (such as insurance, fuel, and IT solutions) to logistics operators, specifically for the transport companies and independent drivers who use Hacobell's "transport arrangement service" and "logistics DX system."

A feature of Hacobell is that it covers all types of trucks, from cargo and light trucks to large vehicles!

The network of Hacobell members continues to expand, and with the approaching "2024 Problem," we are constantly moving forward with industry stakeholders to build a system that ensures Japan's logistics do not come to a standstill.

Supporter companies that agree with the purpose are participating! Currently, 9 companies are providing diverse support.

This program is a mechanism to improve the procurement environment for logistics materials necessary for delivery, and to support the management of transport companies and the working environment of drivers. We are promoting partnerships and collaborations with companies that agree with our purpose, and to date (*), nine companies have partnered with us to create an environment where everyone working in the logistics industry can work safely and thrive.

This allows them to apply for the necessary support and services quickly without stalling their business operations.
