Golden Week is almost over, isn't it?

Back in my student days, I remember being surprised at how the trains, which were crowded at the start of the new semester, would be completely empty once the holidays were over.
I wonder how it is these days.

Well, this time we are operating as an introduction to each Snack note location and as a GW epilogue.

Yokosuka Branch Edition

It is located a little ways in from the street commonly known as Dobuita Street. If you go straight down the back alley, there is a slope, and if you climb to the top, there is a spot where you can overlook the harbor. We are open from late at night until dawn.

👩 I was working regardless of the holidays.
My only day off is tomorrow... oh, it's already today, isn't it? I intended to go home and sleep, but I found myself drawn to the lights of this shop. (bitter laugh)
I like this place because it's easy for a woman like me to be here alone.
It's already dawn. The morning after a long holiday has a languid atmosphere, along with a silence like the morning after a festival. But I don't dislike that feeling either...

Chigasaki Branch Edition

It is located near the Hamasuga intersection, also known as a passing point for the Hakone Ekiden. If you cross Route 134, you are immediately at the beach. The locals get around mainly by bicycle, but since various regulations have become stricter recently, we are also alerting our customers who visit.

👨 I've been coming here since I was a student.
Back in the day, it felt like drinking was okay once you got into university. There were several times we caused trouble by making noise on the beach in a drunken stupor. I guess that's what they call the follies of youth. (laughs)
I feel like it's a stifling era now where everything is so strict. The faces that come to the shop have changed, but the sea you see from the beach hasn't changed.
Oh, but the beach itself has become cleaner now.

Minami-Izu FC Branch Edition

The Minami-Izu branch is not directly managed, but is a franchise store. It is located along a street a little ways away from Yumigahama Beach. We are open every day during the swimming season, but during the off-season, we are only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.

👨 I came here with my girlfriend in the middle of summer a few years ago, and I decided to come again using the holidays this time.
My girlfriend? Ah... we broke up a while ago, so this is a solo trip.
It's really quiet when you come this far, and I feel healed by the calm scenery and nature; it's nice, isn't it?
It gets crowded in the summer and the atmosphere changes completely, though...
I'm depressed about work again once the holidays are over, but I'll do my best. If I come again, it'll probably be after the summer bustle has passed.

🍷The long weekend ends tomorrow, doesn't it.
When you're resting, time flies by in an instant, and then it's back to the daily grind.
The next long weekend is Marine Day in July.
