[Poem] Tuning the Heart

At first, the breathing was very fast.
It stirred the depths of my chest like a storm.

Waves crashed against the rocks,
trees swayed and creaked,
and the metallic sound of empty cans rolling
raged in the corner of the embankment.

However, with every deep breath I exhaled,
those sounds retreated further and further away,
like the ebbing tide.

Just as morning dilutes the night,
the color of my heart gradually brightens.

The waves left no trace,
the trees stood dignified,
and the remaining sand was smoothed by the receding waves and wind,
turning into a white sandy beach.

Everything harmonizes,
melts together,
and becomes one.

And then, it became quiet.
I inhale quietly like a ripple,
and exhale slowly.

I pluck a single spun string.

Gradually, the vibration of the string aligns,
and quietly stops.
Then, a deeper silence arrives.

Inhale, quietly.
Exhale, slowly.
Inhale, clear your heart.
Exhale, let go of unnecessary sounds.
Inhale, deepen the silence.
Exhale, everything becomes one.

Along with your breathing,
the tuning of your heart is quietly and slowly completed.
