Chapter 3 | Three things to organize before requesting to reduce misunderstandings
Many of the mismatches that occur with the bird's-eye perspectives described so far start from the fact that 'what kind of final image you want in the first place' has not been shared. In this chapter, I will introduce
three points that are helpful to organize before making a request. If these three are verbalized, it will also be easier to select the 'necessary materials' in Chapter 4.

3-1. Decide who the image is for
First, it is important to clarify 'who you are showing this bird's-eye view to'. Because a bird's-eye perspective handles a lot of information in a single image,
the priority of how it is presented changes significantly depending on 'who you are delivering it to'.

By having a firm grasp of "what you value," you will no longer be lost when making requests for revisions or adjustments during the production process.
By organizing "who, what, and how much" in words like this, the next thing you need is concrete materials to give shape to those intentions.
Because a bird's-eye perspective is an image with a large amount of information, the content you share at the beginning greatly affects both the readability of the final result and the speed of production.

A bird's-eye perspective requires organizing multiple pieces of information simultaneously within a single image, such as buildings, the site, the surrounding environment, and height relationships.
Therefore, the "speed to completion" and the "accuracy of the finish" change significantly depending on which materials you share first.
It is not that "I cannot draw without all the materials," but rather the idea that
"how accurately and how readably it can be done" is proportional to the quality of the materials.
Here, we will organize the "necessary materials" that are highly effective in actual production sites and the "NG examples" you want to avoid.
4-1. The 3 Essential Documents | Site Plan, Floor Plan, Elevation

● Site Plan (The most essential of the essentials)
The site plan is the very "foundation" of a bird's-eye view.
Where the building stands, and where the exterior, parking, and planting spaces are.
Just by understanding this "skeleton of the site," the amount of information and accuracy of the bird's-eye view will increase dramatically.
Especially since bird's-eye views have a high viewpoint, even a slight deviation can easily appear as a major sense of discomfort.
If the site plan is accurate, unnecessary revisions and back-and-forth questions like "Was it like this?" will definitely decrease.
● Floor Plan (Necessary for confirming the outline of each building)
A bird's-eye perspective can be drawn with a certain atmosphere using just a site plan, butthat alone makes the information thin and makes it difficult to convey the character of the buildingand.

Just by having the address, map link, and local photos, misinterpretations of the surrounding environment are reduced, and the handling of the building becomes accurate.
● "Which area do you want to draw as the main focus?"
The entire site, the main building, or the face on the road side?
If you share where the "protagonist" is in advance, it prevents getting lost in angle hunting and composition selection, and makes it easier to assemble a bird's-eye view that follows the intent you want to convey.
● "Who is it for?"
This overlaps with what I wrote in Chapter 3, but it is important, so I will say it again.

● Reference images (Similar worldview/composition)

Since the "direction" of the composition's height, breadth, and temperature matches, you can minimize deviations in the first draft.
4-3. NG Materials | Mixed drawings, lack of consistency, zero verbalization

● Old and new drawings are mixed
If production proceeds without being able to judge which is the latest, time will be lost because it is necessary to confirm "which is the correct drawing" each time.
Revisions after the model is set up lower the initial speed of production, so you may not be able to meet your desired schedule.
● Information is not consistent (materials are scattered)
Cases where the drawing has a new plan, but the provided reference images and instructions are still old,
or only the planting plan is updated, but the exterior drawing is the shape before the update... etc.
In this way,"the update timing for each part is misaligned" means the production side cannot judge "which one should be treated as correct," and work stops.
Unlike mixed drawings, this is a state wherethe file itself is the latest, but the update contents inside are not aligned.This also has a large amount of effort and risk to decipher, and as a result, the progress of production is likely to be delayed.
● Requests like "Just use your imagination" or "Make it look good"
A bird's-eye perspective is an image with high-density information design, so without the minimum necessary information, the "skeleton" of the project cannot be created.
Because it draws a wide area of the site, the volume of revisions is larger than an eye-level cut.
As a result, revisions occur many times, which is inefficient for both parties.
