Making a natural summer wreath with pruned wisteria vines.

Wisteria vines grow with surprising vigor, so I prune them several times during this season. Since it's hot during the day, early morning is the best time.

The vines are fresh and beautifully green.
Since I have them, I decided to use these vines to make a simple summer wreath.

First, before bringing them inside the house, I carefully check for ants or other insects 😆

The process is simple: I take the first vine, shape it into a circle, and then weave another one around it.
It's surprisingly elastic. I applied pressure carefully to avoid snapping it, but it ended up larger than I imagined.
The fact that it isn't a perfect circle is part of the charm of natural materials, haha.

I attached some yellow-green cotton yarn so it can be hung up.

It will likely only stay fresh for a few days, but if it dries out nicely, I'm thinking of using it as a base for a Christmas wreath ♪
