Today, I have some very happy news to share.



Actually...

Yutogi's book has been on the shelves
at a bookstore in Jimbocho since March 20th📚✨

Someday,
I hope my book will be on the shelves at a bookstore.

I had thought about that before, but...
I never imagined it would come true so soon💦(o_o＊)✨


It really feels like a dream🩷(>_<＊)✨✨

An event born from a connection

This opportunity was made possible because

Kazu-sama, who runs Kurumi Publishing as a side business,
Kazu-samareached out to me.

“If you'd like, would you like to place your book in a bookstore?”

That invitation is what
made this happen.

Kazu-sama saw my article about paperback publishing,

and apparently reached outbased on intuition🌸🤭

Kazu-sama told me that they had the experience of publishing a book about the achievements of their late grandfather, and felt there was a connection between us.

If not for that intuition and action,
I might never have seen this sight.

They were very kind and thoughtful, and that is how this collaboration came to be.

I am feeling once again
how much a single connection
can expand one's world.

A place called a shared bookstore

The place where I was allowed to place my book this time
is a shared bookstore in Jimbocho.

Each shelf owner
has their own shelf and places their favorite books there.

The books lined up there
all had their own personality,
and it was a place packed with each person's thoughts.

Inside the same bookstore,
there were so many worlds.

It was so sparkling,
and it was a space that was fun just to walk through🌸( ´ ▽ ` ＊)✨✨

What it means to have my book on the shelves

Having my own book on the shelf,
being in a place where it can catch someone's eye.

Being in a place where it might be picked up.

It was such a strange and
very warm feeling.

The scenery I couldn't see while I was writing
is spreading little by little like this,
and I am simply filled with gratitude.

I couldn't have seen this view alone

I feel that this event

was born from the connections with everyone who reads my books,
everyone who supports me,
my connection with Kazu-sama,

and so many other ties.


If even one of these were missing,I surely would not have been able to
reach this view.
When I think of that,

I feel from the bottom of my heart that the very existence of this moment

is so precious and
something to be deeply thankful for.

To the place where it should reach

Having my book displayed is
one important milestone.

But surely,
what is truly important is what comes after.

Being picked up by someone,
entering someone's time,

and being remembered
at a random moment.

Becoming words that
quietly breathe within that person.

I hope that in that way,

this book
will reach the "place where it is needed."that is what
I wish for.
