Established in 1999. Ramen Tatsunoya Kamitsu Main Store
Today is my monthly dining-out day with No. 5, who is from Kurume. Last month, we went to Ataru Ramen.
And today, we visited Ramen Tatsunoya Kamitsu Main Store! I finally made it here!!

The menu at Tatsunoya's main store is broadly divided into two types of ramen: the basic-flavored 'Junmi' and the 'Koku-aji,' which brings out richness with back fat, spicy miso, and fragrant oil.
I ordered the Junmi Chashu with green onion topping. No. 5 ordered the Koku-aji with a soft-boiled egg.

In addition to this, red pickled ginger, spicy bean sprouts, and spicy takana are provided for free on the table. No. 5 has already started eating the spicy bean sprouts from a small plate, so I'll set some up on my own small plate as well.

Since there are a lot of green onions, I'll use half and save the rest for a noodle refill!
And so!

Today, there's no turn for the fried rice...
And now, the bowl arrives.

Man, it looks delicious. No, it must be delicious!

This chashu looks firm and meaty, but in reality, it's melt-in-your-mouth tender!

It's rare to come across chashu that is this flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Of course, it's delicious!
Sipping the soup.

A rich, full-bodied soup. You can also taste the umami. Yet, it's easy to drink, a delicious soup that lets you feel the Kurume ramen style.

The noodles are low-hydration, extra-thin straight noodles from Fukukurume Seimen. They are clean, easy to eat, and slide right down. This definitely calls for a noodle refill!!
Then, even No. 5, who rarely orders an extra serving of noodles, ordered one. It seems it's quite delicious.

Sorry for the messy look. I added the pickled ginger, spicy bean sprouts, spicy mustard greens, and the remaining green onions for round two!
I polished it off in no time,

The dragon appeared from the bottom of the bowl.
I'm stuffed again today!
Thank you for the meal!!
